Pairing: Charmaine Diyoza x Reader
Prompt: You and Diyoza are stuck on a planet with a sweet youngin, Hope. But you know you have to get back to your friends. To Clarke, your responsibility.
You were sitting on your hip in the garden with a young girl sitting with you. She was practicing her earth skills and you were teaching her, begrudgingly Pike’s best student. You’d actually been training to be a teacher when the Ark returned to the ground.
You smiled up at the proud child. “Nice work. Go grab me a shovel. So remember, only three seeds per hole.”
Hope hopped back over to you, handing over the shovel. “Copy that. Three. Can I bury them?”
You smirk at the child. So confident, like her mother. “Mh-hmm,” you approve, watching her count carefully.
The domesticated terrorist walked from the home, gathering the food she planned for dinner. "New plot is looking good. I want those tomatoes.”
You laughed. She’d been saying that for 3 years. This year was the driest yet, and you’d picked the best season for it. “I know,” you sang softly, looking up at her from the land.
Diyoza shared an intimate look with you and you looked away quickly. “Hey. Who's hungry?” she easy moved. Diyoza was used to your mood-swings by now. She knew you felt guilty to pursue any relationship while Abby hadn’t even realized you were gone yet.
"Let me guess. We're vegan again!” you quipped to clear the tension. You needed to take care of this, likely after your next dive. Diyoza was only too happy to get physical and you had a sneaking suspicion she wasn’t going to let you get away with pushing her until she passed out then sneaking off this time.
“Only if you're not in the mood for my jellyfish etouffee,” Diyoza quipped back.
You smirked, enjoying the banter. Hope was still learning the ins and outs of playful interaction. Most of her comments you found too adorable to appreciate her quick tongue.
"Jellyfish and chips,” was one example.
You could do little more than smile at her, finding her endlessly cute, before snorting at Diyoza’s excessive agreement. You ‘tsk’ and point at them both. “I yuh both beat. Peanut butter and jellyfish.” You pointed your trowel down emphasize.
Hope laughed dramatically.
Diyoza watched your interaction. She smirked propping her basket of vegetables on her hip. “Jellyfish pot pie it is. Come on. Earth skills before dinner. Tante's gonna teach you how to sew,” she added remindingly.
You nod, knowing there’s no escape. With an indulgent smile, you wave your hand high, waving her off. “I'll be right behind you. Just finishing up with my rows.”
Hope hopped up and raced after her mother.
You desperately tried to dissolve into your gardening. You had to be capable of this being an only viable option of life. And the last thing you wanted was for Diyoza or, God forbid, Hope, to notice you yearning to escape. But you had to warn Abby, to help Clarke. You loved Abby, but you opened your heart to the other person against your will. Abby had been easy, comfortable; Diyoza was the type who could have you dizzy in one second then all business the next, still teasing through work. Abby was all professional; Diyoza made your head spin. You were knocked out of your thoughts by a passing shadow revealing a running pursuant. As was your instincts now, you tensed before recognizing Hope trying to train. You caught her and picked her up. “Hey, what are you doing?” You jutted your head to the side to make sure Diyoza was inside. “She'll hear you.”
"I'm training so I can help you save Clarke and Abby.”
You and Diyoza hadn’t known what to say about your relationships so you’d only left it at Clarke and Abby were important. And, of course, the stories. “My darling, they don't even know I'm gone yet. Six years for us is like that,” she snapped, “for them.”
Hope bounced enthusiastically. “That means we have time for you to make me like you.”
You resisted the instinctual urge to demand she never end up like you. But Hope didn’t know that you and her mother used to be the things that went bump in the night so you went back to your gardening, only postponing it to stroke her cheek with your finger. Of course, that is, until Hope pushed you again, catching you by surprise. Your head slammed back and knocked into something hard, causing pain to explode in your skull. “Ow,” you complained.
Hope got off you apologetically. “Ooh! What is it?” she questioned.
You both turned to it and undug what looked like a rock. “I don't know. It looks like-” Your finger found a button and the helmet flipped open, revealing a rotting corpse.
Hope’s first body, she screeched and climbed her way back. You immediately slammed the helmet back shut, moving to shield Hope.
Diyoza emerged from the house, on guard. She shouted her daughter’s name, and you were immediately talking over her. "Diyoza, get her inside.”
Daughter and mother hugged before Diyoza, gestured toward the door. "Go on now,” the blonde insisted.
"This isn't the first time something was planted here,” you commented off-handedly. Diyoza knelt across from you. “Help me get him out of here.”
Diyoza was digging a bit aggressively, something you didn’t mind until you saw the matching clothes.
“Hey. Easy,” you ordered, eyes examining the suit with the skill of an experienced adventurer. “This is my way out,” you breathed, feeling a weight lift from your chest.
Diyoza barely paused, her mind racing back to how you were always trying to leave. She wondered if it was about her or Hope, but ultimately knew you would always feel Sanctum’s and your other family’s responsibilities. Luckily, she had less people on her side, and was therefore able to convince you not to take any unnecessary risks. Or do anything she could twist to seem unnecessary. “Oh, God. Here we go.” She went back to digging.
You tilted your head at her. “There's a whole suit here. This could easily add a minute to my dive.” You fell silent before adding, stubbornly: “You know I'm right.” And you kept digging.
Diyoza was way better at digging than you. “You're right. It might buy you some time, but this gear's probably biometric. That means you put it on, and it lets his people know we're here, and I don't know about you, but I'd rather not face an army of guys like this.”
You tilted your head agreeingly. You both pulled the body from the garden. “If there's tech in this thing, it's deader than he is. This gets me to Sanctum. I come back with our own army. Let these guys try to come,” you challenged, confident.
As much as Diyoza loved to see you when things fit together (you positively lit up), she needed you to be realistic. She stood up. “Do you hear yourself?” she snapped.
You paused. That was a drastic change. "Do you?” you reflected.
"You really want to expose Hope to that- armies, a war?”
You frowned at the illogical argument then turned to the body. “You're just trying to guilt me into staying,” you revealed, knowing all about her desperation. But you were just as desperate.
“Yes, because it's the only tactic I haven't used,” Diyoza commented from behind you.
You grabbed a tarp, pouting playfully at her. “Not the only one...”
Diyoza cocked an eyebrow back at you. “That wasn’t to get you to stay.”
You smirked, kneeling beside the body and laying out the tarp. “Nah, you’re right. It was just hormonal fun.” You went serious, rolling the body onto the tarp. “You know I have to warn Clarke about the Primes.”
"What about us? Aren't we your family, too?”
You flinched and Diyoza knew she landed a real blow. You stood up and stepped closer to her. “Of course you are,” you insisted, cupping her chin. You moved to hold both her cheeks. “I'll come back, I'll bring the others.” You moved to her biceps. “Hope can have a real life.”
Diyoza didn’t react emotionally. “In the time you waited to follow me into the anomoly, I was already here for three months. When you come back, I'll be dust, and so will Hope after living alone for however long she's alive once she buries me. We had a good run, though, right?”
Though you expected, and perhaps even deserved the coldness, you watched her walk inside regretfully. With a sigh, you took the the ends of the tarp and hauled the deceased off into the woods. Stripping him of his suit, you folded it and rolled him into a pre-dug grave. You covered him with enough dirt that you wouldn’t be able to tell by the time another body was ready to by buried, a trick you’d been forced to learn during your time on Earth.

Hope taking her mid-day nap when you walked in, decked out in your fancy, new suit. You bent and kissed her temple before backing away, hoping to escape before the tears fell. Diyoza was right. Short of everyone being right there when you got back, it could be decades for them before you returned. Already at the door, you were forced to face the awoken brunette.
“Tante, wait. Don't leave.”
You sat beside her on the bed, holding her hand. “I miss you already,” you tried to comfort.
Hope pouted, her bottom lip wobbling. “I don't want to grow up without you.”
You pouted back, misty eyes matching Hope’s. “Maybe you don't have to.” You leaned forward, holding the side of her face. “We don't know how the anomoly works, right? Before you know it, I could be back with Abby, Clarke... Bellamy.”
“And Murphy?” the little weirdo asked.
You smirked, barely restraining your laughter. You let out a controlled syllable. “Haha. Yes, him, too. All of them.” You planted a kiss to her forehead. “I love you, little one. Don't you ever forget it. And don’t you ever grow up,” you ordered. The two of you shared a hug before Hope felt secure enough to let you go. You went outside, looking for the helmet to complete your ensemble.
Diyoza was making her way up the hill, distracting you from your search.
You smiled at her, glad she was able to let you do this. “I thought you were too mad at me to say good-bye,” you greeted.
Diyoza wasn’t as pleased as you. “This isn't good-bye.” She tossed the helmet at your feet. It was cracked. That weight sunk back into your chest, weighing down your heart. The reminder that it existed wasn’t as helpful as the pain nearly felled you to your knees. “You won't accept this now,” Your head was spinning, but a firm blink sent you back into your own head, rage filling you. “...but I'm probably saving your life because even with that thing on-”
You couldn’t let her finish. Trying to protect you or not, she crossed a line. You went diving every day for 6 years and she does this? You ran at her, swinging a wide right hook.
Diyoza ducked under, getting behind you too easily. You spun to face her, but she bent back, ducking your next swing, before shoving you to continue your spin. “You want to hate me, hate me, but Hope needs you.”
You ducked any hold she tried to get on you, twisting to kick her abdomen. “Stop making this about Hope,” you ground out as she grabbed your leg.
Diyoza flung you sideways and got her arm around your neck, securing you both. You went to bend to fling your weight and force her to let you go, but she pulled the both of you to the ground. “Fine. I need you, too. Is that what you want to hear?”
You tried to wriggle out of her grasp, desperate not to listen to Diyoza. You were desperate of many things, you noticed. This place was getting to you. You used to be a fierce leader. Now, you were a melted secondary mommy.
“Your girlfriend tortured you to get drugs.”
“Shut up!” you growled back, twisting and reaching back.
Diyoza tightened her grip, forcing a choking sound and an involuntary kick from you. “Why are you so eager to run back to her? Why aren't we enough?”
You dug your nails into her arm, tears leaking from your eyes. You didn’t even know anymore. You couldn’t just give up. You didn’t know how. Not anymore. You went limp in her arms and she moved from a choke hold to a hug. Your hands stayed on her arms.
Diyoza ran her nose over your neck, making more tears stream down your face. “This is your home now.”

You sat at the kitchen table, writing a letter. Hope was planting a window garden while Diyoza sat across from you, showing Hope flashcards. “You aced your reading, but your math... you're gonna do it first thing tomorrow morning.”
"Going soft?” you asked. Diyoza never let her homework be shunted to the next day.
“Mm, I just have plans tonight.”
Both you and Hope looked at Diyoza in doubtful shock. What sort of plans?
Anyway, you held up a shirt from your lap, folding your letter and absently putting it in your pocket. “Remember this?” you asked.
"I remember carrying your ass through the woods in it.” The whole house fell silent. With a sigh, Diyoza admitted: “That's me on dishes.”
You smirked, trying not to outright laugh at her expense. She already stood, scrubbing the few dishes they had. “I could have made your daughter a pair of pants if you didn't rip the sleeve off.”
Diyoza scoffed silently. "I ripped the sleeve off to save that gnarly arm of yours. It's time to throw that damn thing away.”
"That's dishes tomorrow, too,” Hope was too happy to point out.
You threw your fist up before drawing it in. “Justice!” you hissed.
Hope giggled, going back to her window plot.
A touch on your neck had you jerking back to look at Diyoza, who was drawing your hair over your shoulder. You watched her carefully, controlling your breathing with a tight schedule. The backs of her fingers rested on your carotid and you pulled a stitch in the shirt a little too hard. It snapped and you watched Hope carefully.

After laying Hope down, you were drawn into the room with soft touches on your waist and whispers in your ear.
“Diyoza,” you whispered breathlessly, almost admonishingly.
“Shh...” Charmaine scolded softly. She plied you with kisses more delicate than than your lily-like flowers on the kitchen table. She gently shut the door with one hand, her other sneaking beneath your shirt. Just the bare contact had your stomach contracting, sucking in. “Mm-mm,” she chided, running the back of her index finger up above your belly button. She came all the way up to the hollow between your uncovered breasts.
“I-” you started, but couldn’t bring yourself to finish. You looked at the door, mostly to assure yourself that it was shut. Once confirmed, you pulled Charmaine to you with a hand in her hair, lips meeting in an inferno of passion.
Diyoza was, as usual, more body grabby, while you focused on the lips. She actually discovered, during one of her rare successful seductions, that letting you ravish her mouth was the best way for her to get you however she wanted. With your hands focused on her head, hair, face, Charmaine got busy pulling you closer by the waist, moving her hands up to cup just below your under-arms. One went behind to pull you closer, while the other fondled your breath, rolling your nipple between her fingers. The blonde pulled her lips from yours, reattaching to your neck and pushing you against the wall jutting out for the closet.
An unwilling whine pulled from your throat and you tried to pull her back up.
But Charmaine was smart too. Letting you have your way with her lips would only distract you for so long and once you commenced frenching, Diyoza would be lost. Her hand slipped beneath your trousers, past your underwear, and rested at your bush of life. “Aren’t... you... soaked,” she panted out, sliding her fingers through your drenched folds. This sound was decidedly a whimper and it drew a dark chuckle from the blonde.
The sound sent a jolt to where she was already touching and you bucked against your will. Two fingers slid inside you with ease, encouraged by the shudder released from your spine. You were still trying to pull her up and she was still resisting, decorating your neck and chest with bites and hickeys. She set a slow pace, carefully bringing you on the edge of desperation once more today. You reached for the wall, needing tangible to hold on to. You found the door handle to the closet and gripped it, your other arm circling her shoulders. A come hither motion with her fingers sent your hips spasming and your lips clamped shut. Another hand slid down your leg, slowing bringing it up to prop on her hip. This new angle let Charmaine get deeper somehow and you barely withheld another whimper. She pumped in and out of you, occasionally curling her fingers. When she started going faster, curling her fingers every time, you started losing it, your hips chasing her. Your fingers clawed into her back. You could feel it, in your legs. She was barely pumping now, rubbing at your G-spot with else on her to-do list. When it hit, you let yourself relax and ride it out rather than let it sweep you up. The soft moan you let pass your throat ended as a sigh and you relaxed against the wall again. Charmaine finally came up and kissed you again, retreating from your pants with a groan from both of you.
Actually, no, your probably don't. But it means two things:
It's my 🎊 Birthday! 🎊 (17 days from now)
It's the THIRD month of the year, and today is the THIRD day of the THIRD month of the THIRD year of me watching One Piece
Which is all the excuse I need to declare this whole month a Santoryu holiday. And since I'm the one who invited this holiest of days, I get to decree how it shall be celebrated.
And it will be celebrated with All Hearts.
Specifically, for the whole month I'm going to attempt to fill every All Hearts prompt I get (if I was really brave I would say three a day, but I'm gonna need two years on an island with a bored, rich, sexy and silent type before I reach that level of power) and will post something All Heart related every day (health permitting). Hopefully, it will cumulate in me kicking my mind's mental ass and posting the next chapter. Though, knowing the people who read my fic, it will probably just be a lot of porny shorts.
But, hey, short form porn is still something. So feel free to request prompts or ask questions or just anything that might help jump start my muse after too long spent in a hospital bed or a cubicle - also known as the brain's hospital bed. And let's see what I can do.
