I complained to a friend once about some dumb plot point in Voltron where, like, there was technobabble about “oh we can fix it if we use [blah blah blah] to change Planck’s constant” and I was so mad about it that’s dumb that’s like setting pi to 4 and he was like “you......literally set c=1 and G=1 all the time in every bit of astrophysics you do” and I was just like “......wow I could scream about units and normalization but you murdered me on the spot so it kind of doesn’t matter”

FUCK YEAH THE FEELING WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO DO RESEARCH, KEEP FINDING REFERENCES TO A BOOK THAT UURGH IT'S HARD TO FIND A COPY OF, THEN LOOK THROUGH THE ASTROPHYSICS BOOKS YOU HAVE AND REALIZE SOMEONE ALREADY GAVE YOU A COPY OF IT
