Reincarnation
Time travel AU in which Jiang Xiaoshuai and Guo Chengyu wake up in the Republican Era and meet their former souls in the form of Peng Wu and Wu Chongmo. Guo Chengyu looks identical to Wu Chongmo because Wu Chongmo's soul never changed in the hopes meeting Peng Wu again. Peng Wu bears a striking resemblance to Jiang Xiaoshuai, but because his fate was cut short - before even having the chance to confess his feelings to Wu Chongmo - his soul went lost and endured hardship after hardship as Jiang Xiaoshuai before unknowingly reuniting with Guo Chengyu. Finding themselves alongside Peng Wu and Wu Chongmo's stubborn standstill while the war draws closer, Jiang Xiaoshuai gets the brilliant idea of playing matchmaker while Guo Chengyu sets his mind of having a foursome at least once.
