Do I make you nervous || Sonya Deville x Reader
Summary: You join your dad for a WWE event. You meet Sonya for the first time since she came out. You're a nervous wreck. Part two of Coming out.
You had been to WWE events countless times before, accompanying your dad, Triple H, to various shows and tapings. But this time was different. This time, you knew you'd see her again, Sonya Deville, the WWE Superstar you had been harboring a secret crush on for a while now. Ever since she had come out, you couldn't help but feel a connection, a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, she might be interested in you too.
As you entered the bustling backstage area, your heart raced. Your dad had urged you to talk to Sonya, to congratulate her on her recent success and to catch up. But you couldn't seem to shake the nervousness that gripped you.
Finally, you spotted her from a distance, chatting with a few other Superstars. She looked even more impressive in person than she did on TV, and that only added to your anxiety. Taking a deep breath, you approached, trying to muster the courage to say hello.
"Hey, Sonya," you managed to stammer, offering a shy smile as you approached her.
Sonya turned toward you, her smile warm and welcoming. "Hey there, it's been a while, hasn't it?" She pulled you in for a hug, which you nervously returned, awkwardly wrapping your arms around her.
"Yeah, it has," you replied, struggling to keep your composure. This was unlike you; you were never this nervous.
Sonya must have noticed your unease because she leaned in slightly, her voice soft and reassuring. "You seem a little on edge. Everything okay?"
You wanted to say something witty, something charming, but you could only stammer, unable to put a proper sentence together. Instead, you found yourself blurting out, "I'm gay too."
The moment the words left your mouth, you regretted it. You hadn't meant to come out like this, especially not to someone you had a crush on.
Sonya's eyebrows lifted in surprise, but at least she didn't laugh at you. In fact, she seemed genuinely touched. "Hey, it's okay," she whispered, her voice filled with understanding. "It takes a lot of courage to say that out loud."
As you sighed in relief, she took a step closer, her breath tickling your ear as she leaned in. "Do I make you nervous?" she teased, her voice low and sultry.
A shiver ran down your spine, and you felt your cheeks flush. Sonya, with her confidence and charm, had the ability to turn you into a nervous wreck, and you couldn't help but find it utterly captivating.
You chuckled, trying to regain your composure. "Maybe just a little."
Sonya grinned, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, don't worry. You've got nothing to be nervous about when you're around me."
With those words, she sauntered away, leaving you both flustered and intrigued. Maybe, just maybe, this chance encounter would lead to something more.
