“That’s a secret for no one to know.” Ene paused to take in Momo’s tale. “Zombie idols? Is that all? Man, I bet Master wishes he could trade lives with you. Let me tell you about the time he got chased across the entire city by some sadistic cryomancer on heels, or when some vampire started watching him while he was sleeping, or the time he got drunk at a party and he got flown away by some magical alien girl. Actually, I think I already told you about that one... Also, I think there’s some alternate reality where he’s a space pirate and I’m the master AI of a star cruiser. But I digress... He, uh, works as a line cook at a restaurant now, and he started gaming with some shut-in angel who lives with his demon girlfriend.”

“For that matter, why do you need family to drive you to your performances? Shouldn’t famous people like you get, like, tour buses or limos or something?”
