could you guys talk a lil about the captain & the purser?? doesn't have to be very specific, just general ideas that maybe admin k. might already have that would be useful for someone applying for the purser, considering how the cap is mentioned in the skeleton?? or just like the general vibes™ when it comes to these two. i'm curious and Wanna Know Things

oh hello the purser you mean the absolute love of my life? grousing, sea-faring robin hood? so you probably intuited that they’re childhood friends, both coming from humble origins from their bio - i imagine that malachy counts the purser and the veteran among his most trusted friends and crew members but does NOT have the patience to mediate the the purser/veteran’s mutual weird antagonism they got going on, just *gestures vaguely* play nice pls xoxo. they have a bond in grumpiness, for neither are very pleased at all tourists have flooded the expedition. captain AT LEAST suspects (it will be up to the player if the purser has straight up told him) the purser, for much of their career, has been subtly stealing funds and supplies given by the navy and redistributing to the poor but is chill about it because screw the admiralty for all their slights and prejudice.
