I love DJing parties and all, but spinning my fave SOUL tracks always feels like a spiritual release from my heart to yours. Being able to share songs about love -- self-love, love for your people, love for your lover, love for life -- is my personal mission as a DJ, and my gift to the peeps. The Refresh: Lookbook.nu NYFW Party

I am trying to catch up on my photos from fashion week, and there are a lot of them let me tell you. In addition the the shows I was lucky enough to go to,I also attended some fabulous fashion week parties. One of those was 'The Refresh' 2013 NYFW parted, hosted by Lookbook.nu, where they invited their favorite bloggers and contributers to a rooftop venue on the Lower East Side. I brought my lovely friend and roommate Sabina along with me and we had such a fun night with with my fellow Lookbookers. Meeting people I have talked to and "known" for years via Lookbook, we have followed each other, was such a great and surreal experience.

I also had the pleasure of hanging out a bit with Ebba, who had gone all the way to New York for fashion week from my hometown (which is where we've both lived and been to the same schools together for years). The happiness I feel each time I can speak Swedish with someone is almost a bit silly, but out on that rooftop that night we found ourselves being three Swedes in New York. And it felt just right.
