he’d immediately notice your striking hair and makeup, intrigued by the gothiness of it all
of course he’d try to break the ice with a riddle, nothing too complex, just one with a sweet, romantically suggestive answer
and when you not only answer correctly, but respond with a joke of your own, you’d see the first of many of his dazzling smiles put there by you
your dates would be full of laughter and riddles (and good wine and amazing food of course)
he’d notice your artistic flare, honestly he could watch you sculpt for hours, the way your hands and eyes coordinate so flawlessly to make something so beautiful and meticulous
of course if you ever gave him any of your sculptures, they’d be presented front and centre amongst his nicknacks and would tell EVERYONE all about them
honestly he’d just gush about you all the time to anyone around
when he notices you getting a little antsy he’d try new things to calm you down, always remembering what works and adding it to his arsenal
when you really snap, you’d accidentally summon the riddler who’s been hiding in the shadows, waiting to see your rage, to embrace it, to compliment it, to stoke the fire
i think the riddler would teach you to embrace it tbh, helping him with his schemes
at the end of the day, you’re eds through and through, but the three of you have come to an agreement that works well for you all
