I’ve seen a lot of bands and musicians perform in my life. But between, the Ruby Doe, Sandrider, Old Iron, and a handful of other bands, I believe I’ve seen Jesse on stage more than any other musician. I got my first tattoo from Jesse in 2002. Back then it was possible to walk in without an appointment. It didn’t take long before he became one of the most sought after tattoo artists in Seattle and was booked months in advance. Easily one of the most well respected and well liked people I know. Jesse Roberts is a gem of a human being.

Aaron Lundborg, musician. The first time I saw the Ruby Doe was in 2001 and they immediately became one of my all-time favorite bands. Whether it’s a tiny stage like the Bad Juju, a big stage like the Showbox or Skychurch, or anything in between, Aaron owns every stage he steps onto. The man exudes confidence and plays guitar like he’s made a Robert Johnson-esque deal with the devil. These days he’s playing guitar and singing in Glose and playing bass in Old Iron. I love that he’s still making music and hope I get to see him perform for a long time.
