WHY WAS DOCTOR WHO SO SCARY TONIGHT WHAT THE HELL
Lindy: Oh no you're not one of US 🤢
Ruby: *crying*
Doctor: Let me SAVE you
Me, proving why I'd never be allowed in the TARDIS: Oh frfr? That's COOOOOL with me shawty you do NOT have to worry bout it, I'ma go warm up the TARDIS while you hit your lil speech Doctor
I want Jodie Whittaker's Doctor to get more love
She was FUN, quirky, talked too much and a little queer. She embodied the Doctor so well, it was almost like 9 was back in the building with a little feminist zest. The relationships all felt genuine and evem though that love story with her and Yaz kinds jumped out of nowhere, the way it built after that was beautiful and natural. I don't understand why people hate her so much she did a fantastic job, especially in her regeneration scenes. I'm afraid of what people will say about the newest Doctor who has the unfortunate job of following a return of one of the most beloved Doctors
Jodie Whittaker if you see this, I hope you know you did a great job as the Doctor and I was sad to see you go
Took a nap and dreamt up fancasting for a show based on The Broken Earth triology by N.K. Jemisin and here's what I came up with
Khleo Thomas as Hoa
Queen Latifah as Ykka
Madalen Mills as Nassun
Matthew Gray Gubler (my dream described him as rhat white boy from Criminal Minds y'all love) as Schaffa
Laverne Cox as Tonkee (I don't know many trans actresses, but I do know she would slay as an eccentric researcher a la Professor Von Drake)
Coco Jones as Syenite
Lupita N'Yongo as Essun (my brain original cast Whoopie Goldberg and I was like that hoe is 70 ain't nobody gonna believe she had a baby in the last 3 years)
Coleman Domingo as Jija
John Boyega as Lerna
Daniel Kaluuya as Alabaster (giving my brain huge sideeye with this one idk)
I'm only 69 (hehehehe) pages into the Inheritance Trilogy and I think I figured out the twist, which means there's a bigger twist coming. N.K. Jemisin, you son of a bitch (I love you never stop writing ever please)
Realizing that Rashek killed the Keepers and bred out Feruchemists from the Terrismen was because he knew the religion had been compromised and didn't want the power he was holding at bay to be rediscovered and released is just...painful. He had to slaughter his own people and become a tyrant for the good of the world. No wonder he was so ruthless by the end of his life. How horrible.
In The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan and in the subsequent Wheel of Times books, it's confirmed that Matt can speak and understand the Old Tongue because he is a direct descendant of the King of Manetheren. In the first few chapters of EotW, Matt shouts Manetheren's battle cry in the Old Tongue against the trollocs and Egwene is the only one who understands him, even if she forgets immediately after. Egwenes final act as Amyrlin is to weave the Flame of Tar Valon against the Sharans and Dreadlords in The Last Battle, reminiscent of the Queen of Manetheren using "balefire" to vanquish all of the darkfriends after her husband was killed in the trolloc wars.
Basically what I'm saying is, Egwene and Matt were married in their past lives and Egwene is the descendant of the Queen of Manetheren, who used the Flame of Tar Valon to destroy dark friends after the love of her life was killed in battle
