I've never featured Build & Buy content on my blog before, but since we're all about to build a bunch of majestic castles and regal manors, it seemed only fitting to create some heraldic inspired accessories to add the perfect finishing touch. Introducing the BANNER OF THE KING. The hanging flag from Get Together is a go-to for medieval builds, but its limited swatch options really let it down. Not anymore! This new custom upgrade features 30 different swatches designed by yours truly, and as a little extra bonus I also recoloured a wall banner from City Living in matching swatches so you'll have even more options. I was recently working on a geeky lookbook and could not find a good 90s era Rogue hair, so naturally I had to make my own. This amazingly bombastic hair by @ice-creamforbreakfast was so perfect, all that was missing were Rogue's iconic white streaks.

Did you know I'm on Pinterest?

When I'm gathering custom content for lookbooks or collections I always find way more than I can use in any given post. Other times some great CC is released after I've created a lookbook it could have been included in. So what do I do with all these excess finds? Well, that's where my Pinterest comes in! There you'll find HEAPS of Sims 4 CAS custom content, organised by either century or decade. I've also got boards for reference, which are packed full of research images for each time period.

Some boards may not be fully populated at the moment, but that is because they'll be coming up soon in my Ultimate Decades Timeline series. I'm always adding more and more to my boards, so it's worth a follow if you're into historical or decades game play.

I didn't originally have plans to release any halloween backgrounds this year, but as a IRL graphic designer colour palettes are my one true love, so I ultimately couldn't help myself. My recent Time Vamps lookbook inspired this palette, which is meant to create the vibe of faded, gothic glamour. Hope you enjoy and make sure to only add one to your mods folder at a time!

I'm now on Patreon!

I set a little milestone for myself that if my blog ever hit 5k followers I'd start up a Patreon and fellas, we did it! I can't believe I got to this point in my silly journey and I have so much gratitude for all of you who got me here. There aren't any membership tiers, all posts are free and public, I just wanted another place I could share CC links. I'd also like to start doing more community interaction like polls and chats, so Patreon will be a great forum for that. My sister, who lives in the northern hemisphere, sorta inspired this week's CAS palette. She keeps sending me pictures of the snowfall at her place and as I sit in 32 degree summer weather, I am more than a little bit jealous. I always appreciate a soft background that's easy on the eyes when I'm working away in CAS for hours, so I hope you find today's colours just as serene.
