Here some interesting links for those that seek inspiration for names for their sims, or to get a quick name:

http://www.seventhsanctum.com/ In my opinion, one of the best - and biggest - websites for and with generators for writing, gaming, and much more. Their 'names' section of generators offers random names, fantasy names, vampire names and so forth, all with variations etc. (Also, I advice to check out the links on the right side of the page - they lead to other pages with generators and/or names lists.)

http://nine.frenchboys.net/ Another great page for generators, again with a 'names' section, which offers - for example - french names, japanese names and trendy names.

I have used these generators a few times to name my sims, always with good results.
