I second the love for Cas and all of TFW, but I've always had a soft spot for Sam and still do. I feel like the thing that's missing from my tumblr experience is good stuff about Sam. Could I get some awesomely positive Sam thoughts from you? This ask is purely self-indulgent. (Also if you had any Sam-focused (that don't hate on other characters) blog recs I wouldn't mind that either;) )
Hi my friend @gatstiel !!
Sammy Winchester you said??? Well well well, did you read one of my answers today, bc... I would definitely marry him! 💕💕
I love Sammy so so much, really, I started to love him more since I wrote a meta about him and CAS, and I recently wrote another one here a meta just for him.
But I would love to talk about good stuffs...
The majority of the fandom talks about Sammy as a third wheel. I would love to talk about him as THE VOICE OF THE REASON in Supernatural.
This character had grown a lot the last two seasons, and I'm really very satisfied in what he become.
As a leader, he is THE VOICE OF THE REASON.
How many times did he use his words to make his brother to calm down his heated head, or to calm down the whirlwind on the room, or to come with the wise solution to a problem? Or figuring out the clue from the case?
He is smart, reasonable, judicious, calmed, insightful, intelligent, and one of the most beautiful adjectives he possesed, is his empathic way to talk with people.
Even feeling himself destroyed bc they couldn't find Dean, after Castiel said sorry to him for being talking with demons, Sam said he would do the same to find Dean. He comforted his best friend, just right there, in the middle of his own suffering.
Sam has a big heart, as Castiel, that's why both of them are a great team together. And that's why he handle with pain and lost so different compared with Dean. He is silent. He went alone to prepare a pyre bc he wanted to make something for Jack in 14x08 and not feel he had failed to him... Not doing nothing for keep him alive. He started to compulsively hunting after he lost the hunters, not to think about it, and trying to occupy his mind in other things, but they always came back to his mind, bc he felt responsable as a leader, and he felt he failed them. So he is still mourning them. Remember in 14x15 Peace of Mind, was that, Sammy searching for his peace of mind. That's why he was one of the victims in that town. He was looking for a way out from his suffering, and a fake happiness could temporary work for him.
And now... With Mary... He is the voice of reason again. He is in a huge pain for loosing his mother. But he knows she is in a better place. And he knows Mary Winchesters's time on Earth had ended. And they should accept that.
Wow! What else? Oh yes... And I love him so much bc he is such a correct boy. Trying to do right.
And Jared is such a great actor you know???
And don't forget this scene...
Again... Bringing back his brother from the suicidal plan, using reason, feelings aaaaand a good punch. I love him.
Thanks for this question, I really enjoyed talking about my sweet Sammy... I'm sorry I can't give you advice about Sammy blogs... I know people who love him a lot as my friend @cheerstofandomfamily she can help you! Oh! And I love @shirtlesssammy gifs of Sammy!
C-u my friend! 😘💕💕
