Weeelll… I have a feeling Eldritch might say he was doing a good thing! That if you’re just doing this for yourself out of fear, then it’s unhealthy. Probably also say something about how you shouldn’t fear death. That it’s part of life, and how the memories and things done during that time Cowboy had been alive were what mattered most. Him helping you get back on your feet (literally & mentally), and you helping him see that he isn’t defined by his past. You were both positive influences in your own right, and that’s all that ever mattered. Immortality is just a fluke, and eventually an immortal will die.

And what would you know about immortality, exactly? Or death, even. Do you even know what kind of pain death brings to an immortal? The kind of fear it strikes in you when it offers you a dance? The dread of knowing not even an afterlife awaits your loved ones because of what you have done?
*They took their time in limping over to the kitchen, hands dancing around the counters before it briskly pulls out a knife from its rack in one, swift motion.*
