本日は、米国NYよりLittle Jackieをご紹介。
Little Jackieとは、米国NY出身のアダムとイマニによるデュオ。イマニはソロシンガーで、アダムはプロデューサー・トラックメーカーとして活躍しており、そんな二人がデュオを結成して、2008年にデビュー。R&Bとオールドスクールヒップホップを基調とした、絶妙なオシャレさと軽さで、デビューアルバム「The Stoop」がいきなり大ヒット。当時ではなく今だったらもっと売れていたんじゃなかろうか。日本では1stのみメジャーで、以降は販売されていませんが、3枚ほどアルバムは出してるようなんですが、それ以降が音沙汰なく。。
というわけで、今日は名作の1stアルバムよりビートの気だるさとキャッチーなメロディが気持ちいい、僕のお気に入りなこちらの曲を。
