Kung Fu Crimewave is a band whose core is based around family ties, with singer-guitarist Luke Kelly performing with his siblings Joanna (bass and vocals) and Neil (drums), plus Preston Spurlock on keys. "Forgot About Rock 'N' Roll" features the band's signature apocalyptic-bar-band sound, highlighted by one of their catchiest melodies. The Telethons combine the best elements of '90s alt-rock and power-pop into a complex stew of tricky riffs and sing-along choruses.
