Insensitive outsider opinion no one of the acting figures asked for. The way Tomlinson children are so comfortable with using Fizzy and Jay’s deaths for stunt propaganda is so…icky. Lottie’s book intentionally misleading with the first grandson thing, advert for the same book posted right after the childhood photos where “Louis looks just like Freddie🥹” on Fizzy’s death anniversary, and Louis with this forsaken tweet recently just inserting propaganda into a very real issue to gain sympathy and set the fandom against larries even more because the dude used an anti larry dogwhistle. Tacky all over. And recently I realized that in real life not that many people use morality and honesty as their deciding motive. For each “Why did he/she/they do this or that and didn’t do this and that?” asked by us the answer is probably that they don’t care, point blank. Wanting people to act according to moral values is always the basic standard, however expecting them to do so has been increasingly difficult
Well, to defend them a bit, they are influencers who wouldn't have a career if not for Louis. They earn their living showing off their lives to the public. They don't know any other way, because they grew up in the public eye.
They need to keep to the narrative if they want to be in the industry and talk about their family. They have no choice. They're also aiding and easing Louis' own stunt burden by legitimising the narratives. I think Louis is grateful for that.
Lottie is captialising on her grief and using her position to sell her book. That's no different than what Gemma is doing with her book.
I don't think using social media influencers, reality stars, boybanders or other powerful figures as a measure of integrity and honesty among people, is showing you the correct picture. None of the people on top have gotten where they are without stepping on some toes.
Most people do have a moral compass. Most people want to and strive to do the right thing. But sometimes things aren't black or white. Sometimes you have to break one moral code in order to comply with another. Sometimes there are different considerations you have to take. Sometimes trying to do good is making things worse. Sometimes things have to get bad before they can get better. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices in order to gain something else.
Most people are sound people, anon. You can trust most people. Just be wary of those in powerful postions with something to hide.
