Had to pick something to draw in oil pastels for my art class and I chose the Trapper/Trader mask

I love them both very much they’re my sillies

Was Leshy the sort of person who thought "retirement" meant quitting your job and disappearing into the woods, and was severely disappointed a week later to have been found after being declared a missing person and placed in a home "for his own good"

oh nah, leshy had been living off the grid out in the woods for years lmao; i imagine his appearance and general demeanor got him something of a local cryptid status in the area around whatever forest he was living in

so as he got older he just started getting sloppier about not disturbing the peace, and after a point the trader was just like "grandpa look we gotta talk about this"

What are your guys's favorite animal? Rather for it'd pretty pelt/ fun way to trap? Or if you like an animal for like a pet?

[+ The look of wolf pelts are fine, but the feel of them are exquisite +]

How long have Royal and the Trader been LARPing with each other?

probably since the trader started delivering messages for leshy from grimora! i could see royal acting as a middleman a couple times, and they could have gotten to talking about their RP hobbies from there (or they could have recognized each other at a LARPing event of some kind following their meeting each other, either works lol); they've both got pretty obvious LARP-specific accessories they wear at all times so a convo could easily begin from there

but yeah with that all said, it's been quite a few years! they've gotten to know each other real well, and probably chill outside of just tagging along with their respective scrybe-parents. though i don't write em much, it's fun to think of them as having a kind of similar but opposite relationship to leshy and grimora: royal has a lot of big grand designs and a louder personality, while the trader is a lot more reserved but also far more calculating; she has a lot of patience built up for royal lol

Sorry if I'm being a bother but I absolutely love the way you portrayed the trader in your old people retirement home au fic it's extremely good ^-^

nahhh you're not being a bother at all! in fact, thanks for giving me an excuse to draw more of the trader, i think she's super fun

i've only hinted at the trapper in my fic thus far but he's like, the trader's DnD character/go-to NPC haha; i'll probably have the chance to show that in action somewhere down the line
