for the first day of drawtober I bring you a Jin bros fixit fic! you all know by now that I'm a sucker for Zixuan as the linchpin in a JGY-based fixit, and this one has a lot of fun character moments ("Zixuan’s face is frozen and his mind is in a haze of poetry, if poetry was just the word ‘shiny’ repeated over and over again" made me cackle both times I read it) with a Zixuan who is determined to do the right thing whilst still being utterly clueless, and a JGY who softens just enough towards his brother whilst still retaining enough of his canon ruthlesness to make it believable. the developing xuanli relationship is also really lovely, and I really enjoyed the clever gambit to take down JGS!
