I think I’ll piss off a lot of NuWho fans just for fun:

NuWho is as much a genocidal homicidal maniac as the Master. We’re supposed to forgive him like the Companions do, because he USUALLY doesn’t kill humans. Usually. He pretends to feel bad about all the killing when he wants to feel sorry for himself, but you can tell he doesn’t mean it, it’s never stopped him from doing it again. And then it leads up to Ncuti laughing while he tortures Kidd at the Galactic Eurovision thing.

The Valyard is a fixed event in time. Little by little, Who’s point of view is changing; it started with that “Time Lord Victorious” thing, and it’s gotten worse and worse.
