Some miscellaneous pendog sketches
Shout out to The Vamp from @pendogcreative single funniest character in horror history. I love it and support it so dearly.
Enjoy my latest piece from the latest update
Recently, I've gotten into the Pendog Creative Library ARG, and by "into" I mean 'moderately obsessed with'. So, I thought it was about time I gave it the same honor I bestow upon all my obsessions: ponification. Welcome to the Ponedog Creative Library.
Design notes:
-It was surprisingly hard to get Beetrice's dress right on a pony body, but I'm pretty happy with the end result.
-Dorothy Do was remarkably easy to ponify, but in hindsight I wish I'd articulated his wings. I tried to do it batpony-style, cloth and wood, but that too closely resembled the Hang-Glider
-Harmonia is a unicorn, but I gave her a kirin's horn to reflect Dylan Rose's cultural appropriation.
-I elected to keep Hecate's face but remove her cutie mark, as that would have similar connotations. (Note: Harmonia and the Vamp also have hidden marks.)
-Lancer was simple in concept, but inking him in while still leaving enough gaps to make it apparent I didn't just use the fill tool was a little tricky. He's also the only one interacting with the boundaries of his circle.
-I originally tried to ponify Maisy, but her morphic resonance was too strong, so she's a diamond dog instead. It does make a certain amount of sense, given that she's a gravedigger.
-Molly Molly is a draconequus for similar morphic reasons.
-I don't have much to say about Slishy Slasher, but boy howdy was she fun to draw!
-Tellie Lectric was very easy to ponify, I really just had to reconfigure his nose area a bit.
-For the Vamp, I had to think about how to take a pony and make it even more simple, with a massive head and tiny body. Then I remembered Pony Life.
-With Winerva, I made the mistake of trying to do her very watercolor-y book style, which isn't something I'm super good at. I did manage to get some extra texture out of my blood splatter brushes, though, so I'm happy.
Silly dude
