Got to go out to a bakery with my grandma a few days ago! Had a lovely time, they made great macaroons! And so I decided to challenge myself and draw chairs, my nemesis. And while it was an uphill battle with lighting, page space, and ink texture, I like how it turned out!
Another coffee shop sketch, this time drawing my first interior since I started this little pen on paper series! It took me a good while to figure out what to draw in there but I’m happy with the final piece!
Snowfall through a city window. Rendered in blue pen and white acrylic paint.
Snow in May is such a strange sight (even if the weather is always strange where I live) that I simply had to draw it.
When You Could Have Been My Star
Another streetside sketch! This time playing around with the shadows of leaves and colored ink!
Some traditional pen and paper art I drew yesterday. It was a gorgeous spring day, and I had a lovely view of a telephone pole across from the cafe my family and I were at, and thought it would make a nice value study!
A glass for your thoughts.
A little gift I drew a few days ago for my boyfriend @sparingiscaring 's birthday! Showing Kris feeling very normal and attached to the world without the soul in them. I'm sure they're doing great.
Puzzling Out The Picture
I got back into Yugioh in a big way a few months ago, and wanted to try my hand at how Yugi would fit in my style! And over the course of a few warm up doodles I realized they all kinda fit together as their own piece. Feels nice reconnecting with an old favorite show like this!
"Vicious games, vicious games With different names, different names"
This past week I released my first single of the year, "Let Me Close Your Eyes" which I painted the cover for! I'm very proud of how both came out, and how well they fit together. I think I managed to fill them with a lot of care and detail without cluttering either composition!
If you like the cover be sure to check the song linked here, plus the bonus alts Under the Cut!
Happy 62nd anniversary to the most creative and imaginative TV show in history Doctor Who! In honor of this occasion I have chosen to make Steven Taylor, my beloved 60 year old space pilot, suffer immensely! Here's to another year of this show and it's great spirit of adventure!
Happy Halloween from Maisy the Mutt!
"Now I See, I Let These People Dig Their Hooks in Me"
"God you're a fool, you think these people really care for you? You really think they will be there for you?!"
In a long forgotten corner of a sleepy little town... is there something stirring?

Happy 45th Anniversary to Remain in light by Talking Heads!
Infinities of Terror
Happy October everyone! Today we have an older piece of mine. The cover for my 2023 Halloween single Infinities of Terror one of the first times I drew my own album art, and even though I was still figuring out my more painterly style, it's still a release I'm proud of, both in music and in art!
