Ending the year with my trip to Pittsburgh to go to the Andy warhol museum was amazing. I never thought that by doing a simple art research paper would lead me to fall in love with Andy and be able to travel 20 hours and visit 8 lovely states just to get to see for myself the art i had seen in books, magazines, and the internet. If it wasnt for Ms. Poirot speaking so enthusiastically about art and opening my eyes to appreciate art again i dont think i would have even gone on my own accord, and thank you to my parents for supporting my crazy idea to travel across the us just to go to a museum. I hope that in the future i can visit again and even bring friends so they too can take it all in as i did. Oh i and i almost forgot to thank Andy himself, you changed what art was and didnt care for what anyone else thought. You did what made you happy, what moved your soul. I hope i too can reach that creative level and just give in and create what my heart desires. As a future teacher i will make sure my students know about you and hopefully you’ll inspire just one or all of them, just like you inspired me. Thank you Andy Warhol, may your legacy live on 💕✨
The Warhol museum in Pittsburgh is amazing. If by any chance you visit the city, try to make a stop there.
My friend told me to cut her hair off and I did. Each braid made such a satisfying noise as it was snipped. I feel strange having it now, though it is also one of my most cherished things. Warhol also had a braid of hair, but we don't know from who. — Adam Milner
i went to the Andy Warhol museum for my birthday :)
