Do you save art to your computer?
I was curious to know if anyone else (still?) save art they like to their computer? I remember even a decade ago, some artists were surprised when I told them i have their art on my laptop and often looked at it. I guess it became a bit more rare when people migrated to places like instagram where you can't really save images.
I love to collect images/pictures/txt of things i like, that i then put in corresponding folders (digital, traditional, textile, photography,…) and since some time, when i save the file, i try and add the artist's name if the piece is not signed, so if their account vanish or what, i can maybe find them elsewhere.
I was curious to know if anyone else also save art they like on their computer/phone. I know that since website like pinterest exist, a lot of my friends switched to just that, and have mood-boards on internet.
(disclaimer: obviously i don't repost the art or claim it as my own after, neither do i print it to sell it. I rarely print art without permission and it's usually for non commercial use, like scrap-booking with my thermal printer or just on my wall, but when i can i'd rather buy a print by the artist if they offer it)
