Hi besties! I’m horrible at being here lately. But I went to the 1969 show in Vegas this week and it was truly incredible. Westgate did such an amazing job to celebrate that iconic night! They had amazing exhibits and outfits and some of his belongings on display that have never been seen. They had Elvis inspired drinks and lots of cute things to take pictures in front of. As well as a little Return to Sender mailbox for people to write notes to Elvis and drop them inside. They also had an Elvis movie night from 10pm to 6:30am! I have so many pictures and things. Which if you follow me on IG then you seen them.
But also I got to talk to David Stanley for a little bit! We were too scared to ask for a picture tho. But he was really nice and asking us what we thought of the show and how even though he had experienced it, it felt like he was seeing it for the first time again.
The whole night was just amazing! I got to finally meet some Elvis people I’ve been following for quite some time. Now they’ve dropped three more recreation shows for next year and I’ll be there again in January for the Aloha in Hawaii show and the TWII show in October!
