Summary: Gabriel disguises himself to crash your date
*Image not mine*
Gabriel quickly disguised himself as a waiter, a mustache and all, before entering the kitchen part of the restaurant you and stupid Derek currently walked in moments before.
When he realized he liked you, he knew he couldn't let you go on this date. He had enlisted Sam for help.
Unfortunately, the youngest Winchester was completely against helping him ruin things for you with Derek and was planning to tell you of Gabriel's scheme.
Not wanting that, Gabriel banished him to a different continent, making sure he wouldn't even have access to a phone.
Shortly after that though, Dean came out of his bedroom and was questioning him on if he knew where Sam went.
"Nope! Not a clue." Was Gabriel's reply before nonchalantly making his exit.
He walks passed a couple waitresses and the cook before reaching the door that led to the dinning area. He scans the tables and spots you just sitting down on the opposite side of the familiar looking Hunter.
Where have I seen him before? Gabriel thought, trying to find the memory.
Giving up for now, he shifts his attention back to you.
Before you left the bunker, Dean was trying to call Sam. When Sam didn't answer, Dean, in his usual worried brother way, left the bunker to go search for him.
Gabriel asked if he would like his help, to which Dean had told him he could do it on his own and that Sam was probably just on a store run before exiting the door.
When you appeared ten minutes later, wearing that strapless purple dress, Gabriel couldn't help but stare at you, a smile gracing his face.
"Will this dress still give him the wrong idea?" You asked.
"What?" Gabriel asked, feeling like he couldn't breathe.
"Will Derek still get the wrong idea?" You asked.
"Who?" Gabriel asked, looking up at you confused before he was finally brought back to reality. "Oh, Derek? No. Absolutely not. He would have been more turned on by that suit I suggested, and still suggest, you wear. In fact I can-"
"It's okay, Gabriel." You said with a small laugh. "I think I'll stick with this. Thank you. Wish me luck."
He watched you leave the bunker with a pained groan.
The same pained groan he was doing now as he watched you laugh at something stupid Derek said.
"Hey!" A voice shouted from behind him.
Gabriel turned around and became face to face with a man in a cheap suit.
"I don't pay you to stand there and watch our guest!" The man snapped. "Grab a tray and get to work!"
The man grabbed a round tray from his right and shoved it into Gabriel's arms before turning him around and pushing him out the door.
Gabriel stumbled a little and turned to glare at the man.
He lifted his fingers up to snap them to make the man regret doing that, when he heard your laugh.
Realizing he had more pressing matters to attend to, Gabriel dropped his arm with a sigh before making his way to your table.
When he reached your table, he stared at Derek, still trying to figure out where he has seen him before.
Was it in Atlantic City? He thought. "No. The guy doesn't look like he's been anywhere near a casino. Upstate New York? No. Clearly, like most hunters, he doesn't splurge.
Where have I seen this guy?
"Hi." Derek said uneasily.
Gabriel snapped out of his thoughts and looked between the two of you.
"I-er," Gabriel began before coughing, lowering his voice after. "Hello! Welcome! I am, um, Stefano. I will be your waiter this evening. What would you like?"
You looked at him with narrowed eyes.
Gabriel quickly looked away from you and looked at Derek expectantly.
"Uh, well, lady's first." Derek said, gesturing to you with a smile.
Gabriel just barely held back a growl.
"I would like a water and a burger with fries please." He heard you say.
Gabriel quickly nodded in your direction before staring at Derek some more.
"And I'll have the same, actually." Derek said, smiling a little.
Gabriel nods again and said:
"Be right back with your order."
He turns and heads back toward the kitchen muttering: "And I'll have the same, actually." Making a gagging noise soon after.
When your order was ready, Gabriel walked out of the kitchen witht he food and drinks on his tray as he still tried to figure out where he had seen Derek before.
It didn't make any sense. Sure, he's been to Illinois but he doesn't recall seeing the hunter there during his stay.
He must have seen him somewhere though. Gabriel never forgets a face. It's how he has stayed alive for so long.
When he reaches your table, he places your order down in front of the both of you.
"Hey, uh, Stefano?" Derek asked. "Have I seen you before?"
Gabriel froze briefly before straightening up.
"I'm afraid you are mistaken." Gabriel said. "I have no idea who you are at all."
He catches you looking at him and quickly looks away, knowing if he looked at you too long you would probably figure it out.
"No, I'm pretty sure I do know you." Derek said. "Except you didn't have that ridiculous mustache."
Derek stands up and pulls the mustache off Gabriel's upper lip.
He made a face.
"Hello, Mr. Trickster." Derek said, angrily.
"Gabriel?!" You said stunned.
"Wait, you know him?" Derek asked you.
"Yes." You said. You stood up and gave him a glare. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, Sugar, it's kind of a long story." Gabriel said with a chuckle.
"Try me." You said.
"Well," Gabriel began, looking at Derek who was now giving him death eyes. "Where have I seen you before? Because I can't place you?"
"A couple years ago you visited a college in Missouri and about three professors ended up dead." Derek said. "Before I could kill you, you waved with a smile and disappeared."
Gabriel thought it over before saying:
"Oooooh. Right. Hunter with the ascot." He looked Derek over. "Good choice of leaving it behind. It really didn't suit you."
"Gabriel." You said.
Gabriel looked at you, a hint of guilt showing through on his face.
"Look, I don't really want to discuss this." Gabriel said.
You rolled your eyes.
"Then how about I finish what I started." Derek said, gripping Gabriel's arm.
"Derek, no." You said.
Derek looked at you surprised.
"Y/N, he is a Trickster." Derek said. "Loki, if I'm not mistaken. I can't just let him get away with what he's done."
"Derek, he is my friend and you will not hurt him." You said, stepping in front of Gabriel and separating him from Derek.
"Y/N, if you're really going to defend him, I'm going to go back to Illinois and you can lose my number." Derek said.
Gabriel watched as you and Derek stared at each other.
A moment or two goes by before Derek shakes his head, letting go of Gabriel's arm, and walks by him to the door.
Gabriel watches him go, a small sense of victory washing over him.
He turns to look at you and the victory he was feeling gets squashed as he sees the angry look you're giving him.
He knew he wasn't going to get out of this one.
( hey so just a quick lil psa since this actually came up recently again and i keep forgetting to address this ? and i haven’t really thought much of it till like just a second ago so here’s just a little disclaimer regarding starting threads with me/rping with me in general ?
so like... i don’t respond to having random starters sent to my inbox/being mentioned in random starters from ppl i’m not mutuals with, am mutuals with but don’t really interact much with, or straight up have never interacted with in general if neither of us have actually agreed to start a thread.
please keep in mind, i am a selective blog. and over the months i’ve become pretty choosy with who i interact with because i’m still not super used to rping on a public format. interacting with multiple people & having multiple threads is easily overwhelming for me from time to time so when i get a random starter sent my way when i haven’t actually gone out of my way to ask for it or we haven’t actually planned anything first- ESPECIALLY if it isn’t from one of my mains, it’s just kinda ? i’m gonna ignore it.
tbh the only people i really give full permission to send me random starters or just throw their muse at mine in general at any time would be my mains/mutuals who i closely interact with on a regular basis. so like... just keep that in mind. i absolutely appreciate your enthusiasm to roleplay and feel flattered that you’d pick me to send your starter to, but i’d really really just prefer that you ask me first before anything else. sometimes i just wont be interested or literally cannot accept a rp proposal because like i said i get easily overwhelmed and, having too many threads going on can slow me down a lot. i’ve already been slowing down a lot these last couple months although part of that is due to work related reasons rather than rp, but yeah.
TDLR; please don’t send me random starters/expect me to rp with you when we havent actually interacted yet/havent discussed anything prior first/i haven’t agreed to rping with you in general. i’m not gonna respond to them and you’ll just be wasting your own time. )
While It Lasts
Last week, on Friday, Apple did what was maybe inevitable but I was hoping for them to let it last for a long while.
You Should Commit... Murder? Is it murder? Glad I'm Not Involved...
But... I will give a perspective. This might shake the world or in the least show a different thought to the Abortion topic. Let me speak before you yell at me.
