Thinking about your Jason goes back in time and raises Bruce AU. How the hell is he gonna deal with his younger self?
Like any grown adult placing way too much responsibility on a child in the hopes that that child will fix their lives

I love how casually you have the superfam using their Kryptonian names, especially with Kon. They’re all that’s left of Krypton and they get to decide what it means to be Kryptonian and they’re leaving the clone racism in the ruins of the past
yeah!!! imo it is ridiculous how egregious dc has gotten with not using "kon-el" - this isn't a modern thing by any means, it's pretty much anything since the geoff retcon in tt03. but i just remember reading new krypton and being SO annoyed they were calling him "conner" while THEYRE ALL IN KANDOR. flskdjflkds
like, "kal-el" is the first name kon ever has for superman, other than "superman" itself. so when i write kon narration, he generally thinks of him as "kal" instead of "clark" because he learned the name "kal" first. similarly, kara should refer to him as "kon" before "conner" because... lol???? clark i think would refer to him as both "kon" and "conner" because he's very aware of how he himself is both "kal" and "clark" and that saying one is more real than the other is a disservice to the duality of his identity.
but yeah!! kryptonian names :) leave the clone racism to zod & co. kon is literally their little guy. smh
Zeus: “I don’t know how comfortable I am with people giving them treats…M-maybe give it a bit?”
Mnemosyne: “Oooooo, no I haven’t. That sounds delicious!!”
@the-dracologist
Imagine when Blu is born in the Momma Lakota AU. Gramma Lakota
"Yes! another grandchild for me to spoil the shit out of." -Lakota probably XD
How is Mew? Any signs of improvement?
“There’s been no indications of stirring or consciousness. Though they’ve remained completely stable. For now I’m keeping Mewtwo away from the pond, I’d rather wait till I… figure out how to explain it.”
Re: The Superboy knowledge check. Here's John Henry fighting off a guy that stole his armor and tried to kill Kon with it. "Drop the chalupa, dogmeat!" became something of a meme between me and a few friends lol
oh, that IS funny! "just relax and let me snap your scrawny neck" is such a line, really. thanks for letting me know! as i said i havent read a huge amount of supers content (literally just YJ and some of N52 Superboy) so I didn't have much of a pool to draw from for it.
I have a Fakiru concept and none of my friends watch Princess Tutu, so I'm gonna throw it at you. What if instead of writing Ahiru into a girl, Fakir gave both of them the ability to switch between duck and human forms so that they can kinda meet in the middle with one foot in each other's worlds? I just think it's a cute idea for him to be thinking of whether or not she might want to be a duck and being willing to become a duck for her and they spend time together as both species
Okay OP I love this headcanon and I had to search through the depths of the fakiru tag to actually find a comic someone made a while ago regarding that scenario! There's a multi-part comic tumblr user bernardmarie made of Fakir and Ahiru basically having soul rings so that when one takes it off they turn into a duck (and i just love how they made fakir a mallard duck, it's perfect)
A bit of a fun scenario for you based on a daydream of mine. If someone brought in an animal who was able to write or type and demonstrated human level intelligence, how would that effect the treatment process for that patient?
Ferox here.
The two main things it’s going to affect are:
I’d want to explain what I’m doing and try to get consent for everything.
I can actually ask them where it hurts and how they feel.
For example, currently if I’m trying to work out where a limping animal hurts, I stretch and flex every joint, palpate every muscle and tendon, until I get a reaction from the patient. Sometimes that reaction is an attempt to bite me. Sometimes that patient is trying so hard to be ‘good’ that they wont let themselves react. If the patient can tell me where it hurts then I don’t have to poke as hard or guess so much.
To figure out if a patient is nauseous, sometimes I squeeze the stomach region and see if they retch. This is much cruder than being told by the patient that they kind of want to vomit.
If the patient is self-aware enough to understand consent and able to communicate it, I am rather obliged to seek it where I can.
Also being able to tell patients what I need them to do would be helpful. The amount of times I’ve told cats in particular “Just eat something then I can send you home” is beyond count, and I’m sure some of the little buggers would eat out of spite if they knew that was the deal.
