Scarlet raised a brow at her counterpart. She chuckled softly and gave her toothy signature grin. Resting a free hand on the bridge of her glasses she adjusted them. How many questions did she have for her? For now, however, she would humor her.

“Hello, I wasn’t expecting company from myself~ Though I am charmed to meet you. My name is Scarlet and your name love?”

"He-hey tori, I don't feel so good." the guardmen would say before falling into the goat monster's arms slowly fading, to dust.

“Artemis, no!” 

The cry sounded from her: desperate, frantic, pleading. 

Her hands glowed green with healing magic as she caught the warrior, trying desperately to heal her, even though the more rational part of her told her it was in vain. 

“No, no, no, no, I will not allow this, no, no, no...!” 

Her healing wasn’t working, it needed to work, it had to work, she couldn’t let her go like this....! 

Yet as Artemis crumbled into dust, Toriel sank to the ground, her hands clenching feebly at where her lover used to be. Only the sound of her sobbing could be heard in the area.

Admirations

“Artemis...” Papyrus trailed off, and rubbed at the back of his head.  He wanted to make sure he got this right.  Papyrus may be great, and wonderful at dates (thanks to his dating manual and practice with Frisk!) but talking so directly to Artemis about how she made him feel felt strange.  It was exhilarating.  He wanted so badly to make sure she knew exactly how amazing and incredible she was, while wanting to mimic his brother and hide what he felt at the same time.

“I’ve looked up to you for a long time.  You’ve always been so passionate, and so good at what you do!  Your fighting skills are incredible, and you’re never afraid to face things head on!  And, and you trained me!  You took me on, and supported me in my dream!  You even gave me special one on one training, and no one else ever got that!”  His eyes sparkled.  Unable to contain himself anymore Papyrus pulled Artemis into a tight hug.

“You’ve even made your way here on the surface!  Humans aren’t always nice, but you know how to face them!  And you smell nice, too!  Like salt, and water, and pasta sauce!  And you’re so bright!  I love your colors, they look so pretty!”  He nuzzled into her.  “So...I want you to know...I really love being with you.”

Grillby turned his head from the table he slouched over, parchment scattered with slight burns around the edges. His orange orbs breifly scanning the other before offering a silent approval, he stood shortly after. “Of course.” Pushing the wooden chair back into the smaller table to reside with the others of it’s size, minus a rather large one overshadowing the rest. “What is it you require of me.” His voice firm yet carried a softer much more calming tone than he usually used when addressing other knights or lower ranking members of Asgore’s army.
