So, well over a year ago, @thatsthat24 had this post that blew up about girls being warriors and guys being princesses. I doodled a more modern-ish version of it and @leo-the-giant (idk if thats still his username or if he’s on Tumblr at all anymore) reblogged it which was kind of amazing
I rediscovered the post and decided to do a story update and redesign! The full idea (along with other concepts related) is just below the cut!
Torrea and the ideas belong to me, Pedone belongs to @the-metalwork-wolf and the original post was inspired by the men mentioned/tagged above!
The idea is that Pedone is a rich boy/ son of privilege type, whose body guard is Torrea, a poor immigrant from the middle east who came from a poor family.
But when some nasty shit happens and they have to go into hiding, Pedone and Torrea have to both get regular people jobs and learn how to get by depending on each other while living in Chicago. Pedone learns to get in touch with his softer/feminine side, which has been basically kicked out of him from his upbringing. And Torrea, who has always had a problem feeling pretty because the poor girl has ritually no curves and sometimes gets mistaken for a man due to her muscular physique, learns to accept her own unique brand of beauty.
There’s also like, tons of other stuff
Other story lines include:
- At the beginning, Pedone is a very hardcore Nihilist, and not the fun type either. Torrea,while not completely agreeing with him, thought that he was just smarter than her. That he saw the world for what it truly was, like Neo from The Matrix. But as they live together in hiding, the respect switches. When he’s frustrated or just about ready to give up and return home regardless of consequences, its always Torrea’s view of the world; the hope and meaning inherent in just living a life; that convinces him to stay. So Instead of her idolizing him, it kind of switches around.
- The two of them celebrating Muslim holidays will be kinda cute (since Torrea’s muslim). He tries to fast with her during Ramadan as he is interested in learning about the practices of the religion and he just can’t do it. He keeps sneaking cookies
- Pedone wearing a romper (not a mens romper mind you but a female designed one that he ordered in like a 2 or 3X) to support Torrea. she heard in a magazine that rompers are good for girls with no curves, but she’s always a little unsure about showing off her skin (and by extent her muscular physique) . So he’s like “you’re gonna show off? then FUCK IT SO WILL I”

sorry if this is a silly question but I don't have enough money to buy a fancy dragon statue from the magic store, so I was wondering if using small dragon figurines or toys would work just as well for a fire altar?
They would indeed! The statue is merely a representation of all that the dragon encapsulates, no need to spend a lot of money on something fancy.
