Would you say it's an okay point to jump in if you've never played an FF game before?

i dunno, i havent really played alot of it just yet

im gonna guess its probably a fine point but its not gonna do you much in relation to the other games since, again, the gameplay style is drastically different

im gonna guess something like one of the SNES titles (do a bit of research, the original version of ff4 on snes (ff2) is a MESS, 6 is 3 on snes, and 5 was never released), 7, or 10 are good entry points. 9 is from waht ive heard one of the best but it also has alot of callbacks so you might want to skip it until youve gotten familiar with the franchise as a whole

I got a polytech m14 and I'm worried about the rust present in spots on the oprod, and a lot inside the faux flash hider (which I'm replacing immediately). Any tips for getting rid of it without replacing the op rod?

I’d say maybe touch it up with steel wool and then coat it with something (T9 oil or Eezox comes to mind)
