Hermann walked slowly down the hallway, eyes scanning from side to side in pure puzzlement. He turned the corner and stopped suddenly, blinking at the person standing in front of him. "I-I'm sorry," he stammered, turning to look back where he'd come from "I have absolutely no idea where I am."

Jim stopped dead when he turned a corner, having almost run someone over, someone he didn’t recognize. Someone who also appeared to be lost. And wow they were good looking. Jim opened his mouth, meaning to offer some help to the man, tell him he was just down the hall from the bridge but what came out instead was, ” Wow. You’re gorgeous…”

Dear Hannibal/Mr Chau.

I can never be sure which term to use sometimes; Hannibal remains a little too informal in a way and Mr Chau, too formal. Gold shoe man is also rather inappropriate right now, but that's not the point. 

A most unfortunate event has cropped up, something beyond my control and something only I can deal with. I apologize for for my sudden disappearance but it is vital that I leave now. You will need to look after Newt when I am gone; try not to stick knives up his nostrils anymore. As much as it amuses me.. no wait it still does amuse me.
