Call To Action
Temenos sighed. Ever since that nasty business with Kaldina and expunging her ilk from the order, the Sacred Guard had been rather short-staffed. In truth, the Order of the Sacred Flame as a whole was something of a mess, and as one of the few somewhat high-ranking officials left in the church (as well as one of the few people in Solistia who knew the full story of what happened), the inquisitor found himself needing to take on a number of official duties until a new pontiff could be appointed.
And so, here he was in Stormhail, calling on mercenaries to help deal with rising monster populations in the Winterlands. It was all rather annoying, but sadly necessary. The really irksome part was that not many had come to answer the call. And so, here he was in an office that did not belong to him, waiting for news about potential candidates who'd put their lives in danger for coin. Hopefully, someone would arrive soon... The boredom was truly mind-numbing.

Caitlyn stretched as she walked down the plank and into the port (It was funny to think of such a small thing as a port in comparison to the giant docks she was used to in her city) she made sure to double check her spear was fastened on her back and her gun was hidden if accessible. The sailing had been rather smooth, and while they were still far from friends, she dared to think she had gotten closer to her…though she was still confused at the Captain’s demand for extra payment for ‘Damages’ and ‘Emotional Struggle’. Clearly the man knew she had more money to give, and she didn’t give it much thought.
“I have to say…the First Lands truly are a beauty on its own class” She looked at the mountains that ran beside the River, the distant hint of the Placidium at the peak of one of them, and then finally back at the ship, smiling as her bodyguard followed after her. “Alright, from now on you are the boss…what should we do next? Stock up or pick up the pace?”

Bandits' Bounty
Bandits... Mortals desperate to survive, who turned to violence and theft for the sake of doing so. They were often little more than base brutes; a threat to common travelers and small settlements, but usually beneath the notice of a god. However, desperation could make even the weakest creatures bold, and in this day and age, many of Shurima's denizens were growing increasingly desperate.
Reports of banditry on the fringes of Xerath's territory were becoming more and more commonplace. While it would be easy enough for him to deal with them, the Magus had many far more pressing matters to attend to; between Azir, the Void, and now a powerful demon stalking the sand, Xerath had neither time nor forces to devote to clearing away meager pests...
And yet, they must be cleared before they were emboldened further. Thus, Xerath had sent out a request, calling upon what some might consider a natural enemy to bandits: mercenaries. The Ascended's more human acolytes were offering a hefty sum to anyone beyond his lands who might be willing to take up arms against these marauders and either strike them down or chase them off...
