Now Noel has seen some pretty strange things in his life. It comes with living on the Boiling Isles in this realm. Strange, fantastical, odd...but somehow despite all the colors of the weird rainbow that inhabit this place, a yellow triangle with a top hat and cane somehow tops this.

It might be the aura that comes off of this...demon? It’s very old and threatening. It’s giving him the heebie-jeebies, complete with goosebumps!

Something about this guy is telling Noel to not mess with him in any way, shape or form...otherwise bad things are going to happen. For once, he actually listens to his common sense and takes a step back. “Right then, not everyday I see a floating preschool shape with an eye. You got a name there?”

strange, she didn’t hear anyone enter the classroom, but when toriel looked up a triangular-shaped monster with a bowtie was in front of her and her desk. she must’ve been too lost in thought grading paperwork. “Oh, greetings. i apologize, i didn’t hear anyone come in. may i help you?” toriel regarded the other monster peculiarly. she did not actually recognize him.

“i am toriel! did we schedule a meeting for today? i don’t remember setting up a meeting for any of the students’ parents.” toriel asked out of curiosity.

The flower was...dreaming he assumed? At least it felt like it. He was in the usual spot he went to settle down if the resets had become too hazardous, too exhausting to deal with, if needed time to gather his thoughts...To remember when they met them.

Still, it was the spot where they had that fated encounter all those years ago but it seemed like nothing had change from that day. A fact that wasn’t true. The dead were buried here now. So what-

“Oh! You’ve fallen down haven’t you? Are you okay?”

Ah. Okay. This moment. The first...He didn’t want to relive this right now. Didn’t want to open up old wounds. Okay, time to get u-

And just like that, everyone that was playing in the dream vanishes, leaving nothing but himself, the patch of flowers and the light shining down on him...Something was wrong still. The feeling of someone examining him was prevalent and the slight differences in the layout between dream and the real world hadn’t swap. The flower would swing his form around, trying to catch a look of anything around him but...Nothing?

“...Bit cruel trying to hide yourself still, ‘pal’?”

“Come on! Show yourself already! You have had your fun, ha ha!”

Even if whatever this monster(?) was dream or real, he wasn’t going to have them play for a fool in HIS SPOT.

@the-trxangle-guy liked for a starter in v2 / fall of the apex, or canon book 3! specifically between eps 9 and 10, but after simon has returned to the apex for a bit of a change from the usual between ep 9 and 10 threads.

Walking through Grace’s room might have been a mistake. His intention was to claim her throne. As the Apex’s new leader, it was rightfully his. But he was easily distracted. So many things were there that had once been hers, and it was igniting emotions in him that he’d been trying to suppress.

Her room was fairly expansive, consisting of much more than just the room with the throne. And certain parts of it were full of mirrors. He caught his reflection out of the corner of his eyes as he passed by one, and briefly stopped to look.

He was already aware of how high his number was, but the sight of the full thing in the mirror gave him a thrill. He tried not to look too closely at his face. His eyes betrayed that he was exhausted, as he’d been struggling to sleep at all since he had returned. And he was afraid they’d betray more than that if he studied them too closely.

He was just about to turn away from the mirror, when he noticed the outline of a triangle behind his head. Eyebrows furrowing, he stared at it for a moment- until the outline become much more clear, and he suddenly realized it wasn’t just an outline.

“The hell-!?” He whirled around to face the entity that had appeared behind him. Was he seeing things? Was it a null that had somehow managed to sneak into the Mall Car? Maybe one the Apex kids had captured while he was gone that had slipped out of their grasp? Or... something else entirely?

“Who and what are you, and how did you get in here!?”

Whereas some people might respond with fear, or at least a bit of a start to having an uninvited guest appearing from nowhere, Alador seemed somewhat unphased. In fact, being elbow deep in Abomination slime, he didn’t seem to actually notice the floating triangle for several long moments. When he did, he simply paused what he was doing and blinked at the demon.

Still wasn’t terribly surprised. Demons and monsters were quite common on the Boiling Isles. Even invasive ones that could get into houses. And if it proved dangerous? Well. He was in a room filled with Abomination material. “Can I help you?” He questioned, mostly out of impulse rather than any desire to actually assist, before pulling out a long clump of something from the abomination's chest cavity. "It's normally considered rude to just... Appear in a person's home."

From her crouched position, the pink creature leaped into the air weightlessly, floating over and looking at the back of him upside down.

“What a seamless transition of your eye! From front to back in one swift movement, how fascinating~ Though I suppose your back and front are interchangeable, depending on the position of your eye and little bowtie~” One of her multiple hands reached out and flicked the rim on his hat.
