Hello, tumblr decided that this ask was a Secret so I didn't get to know about it until yesterday, at which point I had to get myself all caught up. I adore this.
My favorite bits so far have been Hornet trying to go through with her masterplan of being Extremely Rude, and then having to go back on it at least a bit because she feels bad about being rude to Phantom. Also poor Phantom desperately trying to hold this bad idea together, and it is just Not Working. Lacenet both going man I would like to have Physical Contact With Her. For Combat reasons. Of Course.
Phantom fake drinking tea is so funny to me. It's even funnier given I'd assume Hornet knows both of them are made of silk, and so like, she'd be more confused by it than anything.
I'm very excited to see where you're going with this. I'd imagine at some point Hornet would be expected to start inviting one of the two to some sort of courtship event or dates or something. Deeply excited for GMS to have a heart attack when Hornet picks Lace for any of that.
The funniest part of all of it is Hornet's out here wanting to ruin this marriage, thinking she needs to be rude and offputting, and actually the only thing she needs to do is pick Lace over Phantom, which she likely does 99/100 times. RIP to Phantom but Hornet only likes girls who are mean to her and/or try to stab her at least once. She gets it from her Mother.
Also I'm not sure if you're planning to including the siblings showing up, but I am currently laughing over the idea of Hornet having this sibling reunion in Pharloom. Like, the siblings wake up back in Hallownest like "Oh boy that was a good nap, let's go check on our sister :)" and then she Isn't There. But they figure out she's in Pharloom!! So they go there to rescue her, get into a fight with the Citadel who is now Suddenly At War With The Void itself, right until Hornet walks out like "hey what the fuck you guys are alive"
And then The Void itself is Like "Oh Hello Sister :), you seem Not Kidnapped, sorry about that. Who are your new friends :)".
Like, The Void Itself is now just calm and chill, and maybe slightly apologetic for having harassed the Citadel under bad assumptions. But it's also like.
"Sorry we attacked you, we thought you hurt our beloved baby sister who we love and would kill for." (this is a threat this is a threat this is a threat).
So now Hornet, in addition to Being a scary dog, now also has several even scarier dogs following her around. This is fine and normal.
