*sigh* As much as I love seeing my fave kings Leonidas and Xander in the same wyrmprint, I can’t be entirely happy about it because of the artist who drew the print...

If you guys aren’t aware, last year Hanamura Mai was accused of being a “chimera tracer”. She takes bits and pieces from other artists and makes it her own. Two of who she took from were fellow otome game artists (Yuiga Satoru and RiRi), and the other is a fellow illustrator from FGO (Pako). If you’re a beginner artist, tracing from your artist inspirations is a good way to learn and help you figure out what you want to draw. But Hanamura is a professional, and this is unacceptable. She makes money off of this, and it’s not even by her own capabilities.

Did she trace to make this wyrmprint? I don’t know. She may or may not have. She may have changed in within the months since she was accused and confronted by her “victim”. Or she may have learned from her mistakes, moved to another artist, and became more discreet about her tracing habits instead. Before I unfollowed her Twitter, she showed no shame about what she did. Whether she changed or not, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to see her work in the game... 

If Cygames wanted another otome game artist, I would have preferred they brought back Kazuki Yone, who already drew Dazzling Duet last year.

love how the prequels were criticized for convoluted plots/bad dialogue/wooden acting, so they made the clone wars show to further flesh out the characters and make audiences actually care about them, and then a decade later they make a live action show with said animated characters with (you guessed it) convoluted plots/bad dialogue/wooden acting. It's like poetry, it rhymes!😭

Elisanne fans being smug about the recent interlude because "Elly wasnt as bad as they thought", but I have a feeling CyGames only added that in because they read all the backlash on her.

Why did NOT ONE SINGLE CHARACTER ask about Elisanne's injuries? Hello, Alex? Your girlfirned got attacked and you didnt ask about why!? Cleo didnt offer to heal her? We got NOTHING about that in the actual chapter, so thats why this interlude feels more like a band-aid to patch up the fans' backlash on her actions.

Also, Elisanne is still is hung up about Euden's legitimacy, which is part of the reason why she didnt fight as hard against Nedrick. This is why she's still not in the clear for me. She really is just there because he's royalty. If that's how she feels, she should support the other Alberian royals. Emile, for example lmao

Everyone else in the gang is there for Euden, not because he's the prince, but because of his ideals and goal.

She should get her act together, but I dont think that will be anytime soon.

Me ranting about people’s reactions to the summoning pool changes

Under “Read More” because I got really ranty and I’d rather not torture people. Also, I think I stopped making sense since I got super heated in my thoughts.

I think people are blowing this whole “removing 5*s out of the summoning pool” change waaaaaay out of proportion. I see whining everywhere and I just gotta get this out of my system. Feh only said that those 5*s are taken out only in a New Heroes banner and a Special Event banner.

Which means that these heroes are still in the game! Just not when new heroes are being added into the game. It means that you get to have more chances to get the new hero you want?? Less chances to be pity broken by another character??

I remember when Tibarn came out, MANY PEOPLE COMPLAINED (don’t think I didn’t see y’all in the tags) that they got the wrong person. There’s so much red units, it’s not a surprise. And when there’s a special banner out, like a summer banner for example, people cry when they’re summoning for a certain alt, but only get pitybroken. “I wanted this certain summer unit not this weh weh”

I MEAN ISN’T THAT THE PURPOSE OF SUMMONING IN A BANNER? YOU SUMMON BECAUSE WANT THAT FOCUS UNIT!? So why do people want to be pitybroken by someone they’re not aiming for?? Less competition = a better chance of getting who you want? I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE WHINING NOW

“Oh I don’t have that character yet, and I can’t have them anymore because they got taken out”

Then...summon...when they’re in a focus banner...?? What’s the problem? You really want to be pitybroken by them that much when you’re summoning for someone new??

“I have to now divide up my orbs for the focus banners instead of spending them during when I try to get new heroes/special heroes if I really want an old unit.”

So...again...you really want to be pitybroken that much??  People summon...to get a new unit...so why do you hope to get someone that’s not a focus unit?? 

Yeah, they might not be someone you don’t have yet. They might be someone who has good skills that you can use. They might be someone you already have but want to merge since you got bad IVs the first time. 

POINT IS, if you really want that certain old hero because you need them for something, they have other focus banners specifically for them that you can summon on. You don’t have to wait to be pitybroken in a New Heroes/Special Event banner.

“I’m f2p! This makes it even harder for me to get those old units! I now have to divide my orbs.” 

Well well well, so am I, and I’m doing fine! The thing about gacha games is that you have to make the decision to summon or pass on all the banners they release. If you really want a unit for their value or for a skill they have, then you gotta make a choice. THEY’VE BEEN DOING THAT SINCE THE GAME BEGAN I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU’RE STILL PLAYING IF MANAGING ORBS IS GIVING YOU SO MUCH TROUBLE.

If you need help planning, that’s what the calendars are for! IS releases them so that you can plan ahead your orb spending for the month! That’s why the banners overlap! So you can wait and see what new heroes they’re gonna have! The game’s been out for like 2 years now, they have a pattern! Know it and you can manage your orb spending!

IN CONCLUSION, THIS SUMMONING POOL CHANGE WHEN NEW HEROES ARE ADDED IS A NICE CHANGE! I think it will help people get the new heroes they want. You can still get pitybroken, but a bit less likely. Heck, if you really want to get pitybroken, why do you want to? There’s enough 3*s and 4*s to do that for you.

Look I know Fates had the hot stping feature in their game, so it makes sense, BUT WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THE SAME ROYALS AGAIN!?!
