It's very curious how some people can dismiss the scene of Aegon taking pity on a boy in the war for supposedly (since we've never seen this before) frequenting fighting pits, when in canon those who frequent the pits are...Baela and his father Daemon. The scene refers to him remembering Jaeherys, his son who was murdered by the Blacks and who seems to have been forgotten by everyone except him.

That is to say, why does Rhaenyra show concern for the poor? If she killed a poor man who worked in Derivamarca to live out her marriage with Daemon, then nothing here is genuine.

Red Council Dress

very pretty, probably my favorite of the season. 2 minutes of screentime before being absolutely obliterated by that knife 🥲

2. Dragon Riding Ensemble

A repeat from S2. It's nice ig.

Ep. 2:

3. Embroidered Night Gown

Very pretty. One thing hotd has been consistent on is beautiful undergarments/nightwear.

4. Chainmail Dragon Riding Ensemble

Repeat from S2 (finale). Pretty sure she was wearing armor in the books when she took KL, so I was disappointed to see all they added was a chainmail shirt.

Ep. 3:

5. Smocked Nightgown

Starting off with another nightgown. The shoulder smocking is very similar to #3, but without the collar embroidery.

6. Sitting the Iron Throne Dress

STUNNING. I don't mind the relative simplicity. The silhouette, fabrics, and heavy chain make a big statement while maintaining that minimalist feel.

6.5 Meeting the People Dress

Technically the same as 6, without the shoulder cape and chain (3rd pic). It's fine but loses a lot of its gravitas without the cape and chain.

7. Conqueror Dragon Riding Ensemble

Again, another perfectly fine outfit. Worn during her and Daemon's balcony talk on conquering the world.

Ep. 4:

8. Silver Scale Dress

Another very simple look, but the shoulder scales are so heavy and eye catching it works. (Apologies for the ugly screenshot I can't find any good pics of this dress 🥲)
