@hawkinsyearbook (Chance) for a plotted starter :
Admittedly, sometimes Thea seriously doubted that she’d ever get a higher position in student council, especially considering there was always something they had her running off to do whenever there was a meeting. It was rare that the girl had been able to participate in many meeting within her four years at Hawkins High. However, the few times she tried bringing it up with the president of the council he always claimed she helped them out in other ways such as hanging up posters or passing out signup sheets during lunch, so Thea did her best to help in said ways... even if it would be nice to take part with the rest of the council sometimes.
Standing on her tiptoes, the brunette stapled another Mathletes poster up as high as she possibly could before noticing someone walking down the hall. Well, not just anyone, but a basketball player she remembers seeing around during pep rallies in the gym. Shuffling further back towards the wall, Thea did her best to stay out of the way and give him as much space as possible (as if the hallway wasn’t big enough for the both of them). However, hearing the footsteps stop besides caused her to pause like a deer in headlights for a moment. Glancing around to see no other soul in sight, Thea noticed that he was indeed here to talk to her. A nervousness settled in her stomach, and she glanced up to meet his gaze. “Um, hi. Did you have a question about the Mathletes?”
