Not This Time.
Jack Frost had forgiven the Guardians for all they had done (or lack there of) to him over the centuries. But it didn’t mean he was going to allow it to happen to another unfortunate soul, so when the Man in the Moon had notified them of a new Guardian Jack had immediately jumped up and announced that he was going to find them.
Without....waiting for a location, but locations didn’t matter right? Even if it took a few weeks to scour the globe, wouldn’t that be better than waiting three hundred years for answers?
It, thankfully, did not take a few weeks, in fact Jack didn’t have to go too far past Canada before he found the spirit. They were sitting, almost serenely, in a open field, with the buds of spring just starting to bloom around them. Obviously, the spirit wasn’t new to this world, there would’ve been a lot more confusion in those eyes of their’s if they were. Instead they seemed calm, peaceful, with a paintbrush in hand.
Almost shyly Jack approached the spirit sitting himself down next to her(?) in the grass, the flower blooms around them iced over, Bunny wasn’t going to be happy with him, he thought absently.
How to start? Probably something thoughtful, something that would ease them into this revelation. “Hello.” Okay that worked too.
