The Adept (2021) - I was pleased to be asked to contribute a cover to The Adept last year. The book about Amy, a Chinese-American girl whose past is shrouded in mystery and kickass kung fu abilities, who is trying to maintain a relationship with her sister, Ali, whilst trying to protect an international popstar. It's a great, fast-paced story with authentic Shaolin kung fu action that reminds me of those classic Shaw Brothers movies from way back when, and I can't wait to get into the second issue, which is now being funded on Kickstarter! .
