As someone with Aspergers, I totally understand what those anons are trying to say. Autistic Will is a good thing for me (I loved it!) But I've seen people treat us like we are quite... Fragile? Autistic reactions come from different ways depending on the person; For example: I have a really high sensitivity to sound (to a point I can have a meltdown) but I can hold myself for a while because I grew up with it. I'm sure I'd love to share some headcanons for Autistic Will!

Actually... this would work well with catofcream & theadventurouspancake‘s Youtuber AU/Gaming AU. I can just see Dwalin and Thorin actually hating horror games, but they’re recommended by their viewers to play them. So they play, even when they REALLY DON’T WANT TO. What makes me sad about them:
Doesn’t matter who you ship Dwalin with, it will always be sad because of it. Also it’s often sad in pre-quest fics...
things done in fanfic that annoys me:
when it’s tagged but you get one line of interaction, if you’re lucky, and the rest is usually not that interesting Bagginshield fic... like... why?
things I look for in fanfic:
at least a little bit (past) rivalry, but I also want them to be written well? Dwalin is not the big grumpy angry blockhead who is rude to everyone, Nori is not someone who does little else but hold knives to the throat of Ori’s potential lovers...
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
Nori probably with nobody... Dwalin sometimes with Dís, sometimes with Thorin
My happily ever after for them:
them living happily in Erebor for the rest of their lives, and not having to deal with more shit than absolutely necessary
who is the big spoon/little spoon:
depends on the mood. Nori will wrap himself around Dwalin but not really spooning, and Dwalin with cuddle Nori against his chest a lot... Nori does love to cuddle up behind Dwalin but not for actual sleeping, since it’s warmer against Dwalin’s front, not to mention that he’s really quite small in comparison
what is their favorite non-sexual activity:
probably just doing their work side by side. Dwalin cleaning his weapons or going through reports while Nori leans against his side and weaves or knots or does similar things
