Fun Fact: According to my state issued ESRT for school, apparently grass and the t-rex never existed at the same time.

there’s actually some evidence (from fossil pollen) that grasses had evolved by the very Late Cretaceous, right around when T. rex lived--but it wasn’t widespread like it is today. The evidence for Cretaceous grass comes from India, while T. rex only lived in North America. I don’t think there’s any evidence of grasses in the region where T. rex is from, and that area is extremely well-studied--so even though it did exist, T. rex never saw it. So, in a roundabout way your school thing is still right, but not quite for the right reasons :”D

Alright timeline shenanigans. When Asriel reset the timeline, was it created starting at the point he came back? What I mean is, are the character's backstories "fake" memories that never happened, and the timeline starts at the comic's start, OR was a full timeline created, that includes the past, and Asriel/Flowey became aware at a random time. Sorry if this is a bit confusing.

I wouldn’t call the memories fake- the world’s backstories and its characters experiences happened.  It was just sorta created instantaneously, if that makes sense?Doesn’t mean that its history didn’t happen- it’s just that, from flowey’s perspective, he was waking up in a world that was way ahead of him.
