(Okay, so this will be a master review of the second to sixth novels, as well as the two novellas of the Gallagher Girls Series.)
So, firstly, I am in love with the series. It’s such a fun, easy, and quick read. It’s an amusing series that tugs at your heart a lot, especially in the fifth novel (when *spoiler alert* Cammie lost her memory of the summer). The Gallagher Girls Series is an easy series to get lost in.
So, let’s talk about the character development. I am a huge fan of character development and this series did not disappoint. Every single character went through it, and I mean everyone!
Cammie Morgan, the main character, went through so much that I could not see the Cammie Morgan from the beginning of the series by the end; the Cammie Morgan that hid while a group of boys harassed a Gallagher Girl. Bex Baxter learned to think about the consequences of her actions. Although, she’s still a tough and energetic girl, Bex learned to reign in her impulses. Liz is now more stronger (physically) and more willing to do the dirty work rather than stay behind. Macey has gone from a stereotypical rich girl (first novel) to the strong and confident (not that she wasn’t before; it’s just different) girl that she is now. Zach went from a guy who kept his secrets to himself, to a guy who opened up to Cammie about his struggles and his life. I like Zach and am glad that Cammie ended up with him because Josh was just so...plain... Preston Winters went from a guy who was completely helpless (third novel) to a more emotionally stable and strong guy. I like Preston. I like Preston and Macey together. Mostly, though, I love the friendships that were written in the series. It’s not a series about romantic love but rather friendship and familial love. It’s a story about sisters who have your back through thick and thin. It’s a story about the Gallagher Girls.
So, I really want to make a quick point on the Classified Material novella. I really wanted more of it. I thought it was too short. I wanted to see more from Cammie’s friends point of views. I wanted to see more of Zach’s point of view. I really loved seeing all of their breakdowns after Cammie left. It was such an interesting novella to read and I love it (definitely better than A Gallagher Wedding) because it showcased how deeply they all felt about each other.
There were like three things I was surprised by. Agent Townsend...being who he was (sixth novel), Zach’s mom being who she was (fourth novel), and Amy being...who she is (those who’ve read the series know). I should have seen the Agent Townsend thing because Cammie mentioned it throughout the series, about his similarities with another character. I didn’t see the reveal of Zach’s mom coming at all. Amy was such a small character that I was surprised when Ally Carter made her into such a bigger one. I should’ve, though, seen it coming. Carter has a habit of connecting small lines to be a part of a bigger picture.
Overall, I know this master review doesn’t do the series justice but I really did enjoy the series immensely. I would definitely recommend it to readers who enjoy novels that revolve around spies. I really enjoyed Carter’s writing and am enjoying the Heist Society Series, as well! So, thank you, Ally Carter, for creating a world that is so interesting to read about!:)
My heart just shattered into a billion pieces and not all the kings horses and all the kings men can ever put it back together again. Thanks a lot theallycarter . I'm loving All Fall Down, by Ally Carter. I HAVE to finish it tonight!

Attention Gallagher Girls
Howdy Gallagher Girls! ever heard of Comic Con, Dragon Con, or Conventions of that sort? Well I have a proposition: I say we all work together and create a Gallagher Academy Convention. We would all attend and wear the uniform (you can get the book one skirt on amazon and white button downs basically anywhere) there could be work shops that teach things like paying attention to your surroundings, hand to hand combat, and like mini parkour or whatever. we'd try to get Ally Carter to come of course but she is a busy woman. Ages able to attend would start where theyd start if they when to GA. each age group would travel around and go to each workshop together. lets try and make this a thing! we would need an easy location that's a reasonable travel distance for everyone. so yeah :)
