I made Tigerclaw a good guy in this AU, who was born to Shanty and Pine, but after Shanty was killed during his birth. Pine dumped his kit in the woods in the middle of winter, soon after being found by Leopardfoot, who was nursing his own kits, Mistykit and Nightkit, and was raised alongside them.

Later once he was made a warrior, Tigerclaw married Goldenflower, and only two moons later, she gave birth to Firekit, who was born sickly, and because of this, Tigerkit couldn’t even look at him, not wanting to become deeply and utterly attached to a kit they might have to bury in a few days. Yet one noght during a bad thunderstorm, Tigerclaw gets wortiedvand checks on them, only finding a wailing kit in the nest. And afraid his son still might die any day and knowing this might be the last chance he could have a relationship with his first kit. Gets into the nest and curls around his son like a shield against the scary storm outside. Beginning to groom him to calm him and whispering he would be okay. While at the same time trying not to cry, the flashbacks of his father leaving him flashing through his own mind.

Ooh, loner-born Tigerclaw is a concept I don’t see very often but one that I love regardless!!

ALSO SUPER COOL Fire being Tiger’s son!! And that scene is super cute and nice; good dad Tiger is something we love in this house

I made a rule for my naming System which is that any of the clan's names cannot be used as either a prefix or suffix since they are seen as sacred, so sadly I can’t use Crookedstar’s name Storm. (Because I renamed ThunderClan to StormClan, just because I thought it sounded cool) So what would be another good prefix for him?

Hmmm, it depends!

If you want to do something more traditionally RiverClan, I’d say something more geared along some especially aggressive fish (for combat skill), swirling patterns, cloud formations, etc etc

Hate Spottedleaf. Hate her so much.

She’s literally written as that type of character (idk what it’s called exactly but I Know it’s a trope that exists) that you’re supposed to absolutely Love Love Love!! without any regard for their actual characterization, and Nothing, I mean Nothing gets under my skin more than a writer trying to dictate their consumer’s feelings about certain characters.

She’s written as this “lovely, pure, innocent, wise, absolutely GORGEOUS woman who can do no wrong!!!” but that just makes her feel plain and boring and I hate it. She doesn’t have a personality outside of “pretty love interest”, and it’s garnished with the fact that the Erins try so desperately to get their fan base to adore Spottedleaf by shoving her in their faces Well after her death

She’s not even good as a StarClan spirit!!! She’s just as bland as when she was alive - for all of. What, fuckin’ ten chapters? Plus there’s the fact that there have been legitimate arguments made that she could have been grooming Firepaw, or setting him up to try and make him her mate, or whatever, and it’s even worse in the hindsight of Spottedleaf’s Heart.

She’s bland, boring, and has an absolutely abysmal characterization.

Anyway. Yep. Hate canon Spottedleaf.

For some reason, in my rewrite, I found I had started giving cats disabilities they didn’t have in Cannon, such as Longtail being born blind, Cinderpelt being born with a twisted leg, and a few other cats being born blind, deaf, or mute; I’m trying to make the Clans just a whole lot less ablest.

I think in theory, that’s a wonderful idea! I do advise that you maybe tread carefully around these sorts of topics, but then again, I’m really no expert so I’m not sure how much weight my voice has in these sorts of things

I just had a great idea!

So since as mentioned in one of the last asks. The Pride Knights are protectors of their world from Eldridge nightmare creatures composed of an individual's greatest fears known only as The Eaters, that can only repeat the worst moments of their victim's lives in their loved one's voices before striking. But can only come out in the dark since light is one of their only weaknesses. (I pretty much smashed Fiddlesticks from League Of Legends and those shadowy Fearlings/Nightmare things from Rise Of The Guardians together and made a creature out of them)

And the Pride Knights all have different tasks since they are set up in thirteen different squads, each depending on what they do. So I thought, why don’t I give them all armor and weapons that give them various powers based on what kind of creature they are. (Such as Marceline, who since she’s a Gem/Opal Nymph, can bend and wield light while in her armor and using her war hammer).

I had a dream about this stuff last night so it's still stuck in my brain and will not leave my thoughts alone.
