Ellis swirled the coffee in his hand, a blank expression on his face as he stared down at it. It was decidedly too early for any kind of interaction, let alone having to try to hold a conversation with the other two men sitting across the table from him. Risking a glance in their direction, he noted that he still had no idea why Mark and Sean had bothered inviting him out and narrowed his eyes at the thought. Whatever it was, it probably wasn’t anything good - Especially with Sean at the table.

“So...” he began, simply. “What are we doing, exactly?”

“This is it?” Ellis mumbled, staring at the building that the west-coast state had brought him to, a brow raised as he took it in. Usually, he preferred to stay in his little corner and never speak to the other states except at meetings, but Alfred had been getting on his case recently about trying to be friendlier and if it meant making the country happy, then even Ellis could do a charade or two. “Are you absolutely certain?”

Because dere types wasn’t anime enough, how about a school au? I tried to make them a states class uniform kinda like the ones from the official art, but it ended up just looking a lot like Adam’s usual outfit, so... >.>
