Back in April of 2018, I completed a poetry challenge where I wrote one original poem each day for the entire month. I now present those poems to you as a chapbook/scrapbook designed by me! The book is called “The April Fool” and I will be uploading each poem as I complete the corresponding page.

Text reads:

Dot, dot, red rusty dots

under my arms

Drop, drop, milky clear drops

of oil in water

Plop, plop, large swollen chunks

fall in water

Blood and peppermint smells

Blood and peppermint smells

Nasty little vampires,

will you dot, dot

red rusty dots in my bed?

Spot, spot, red rusty spots

on skin

Drop,drop, matte milky drops

of dew

Clot, clot, deep dirty clots

in cloth

All the musky and minty smells-

All the spot, spots

drops, drops

clots, clots,

plop, plop into water and wash away

Now, now, you nasty little vampires,

Will you dot, dot, red rusty spots, spots

In my bed?

You will not

You will stop
