Everyone thinks they've summoned a hero from another world, but he's really just the intern from the summoning temple's mail room and no one will let him explain.

Alternative: He's still from the same world but their world don't know how continents work yet.

The Sweet Spot of Questions

The most beautiful type of question in the modern day is one you care enough about to poll nearby friends/relatives/passers-by about, but not enough to feel like pulling up a web browser to definitively solve. So much chaos can be created in those moments - I once ended up in a conversation about small person eugenics in college at around 1 AM because of one of those blessed questions. Can anyone else relate?

Ominous Chanting Question

So, this might be crazy, but I was wondering about what the words in ominous chanting music mean? As long as the audience doesn’t know, does it really matter? The reason I’m asking is because I’m just imagining that we could start writing the sound track for some dramatic confrontation and just have the lyrics be “The Wheels on the Bus” in Finnish or some person’s Polish lunch order. We’ve already proven that English nursery rhymes can be scary when sung slowly and with the right accompaniment, so why not have some unspeakable CGI horror show up while Tibetan monks sing a localized version of YMCA?
