Did Bec get her(?) habit of hiding and peeking around corners from her(?) mom?
her is correct
and yes they are a whole family of big grinnin’ corner peekers
The Heirophant: who has served as a mentor during your journey through our beautiful Tyria?
The Hierophant: Who has served as a mentor to your character?
Chaz’s mentor is an Ash Legion marksman by the name of Asha (Created and played by my buddy Glou!). While they were a keen enough marksman with math alone, she taught them some of the finer points of sniping, such as holding off on a shot and waiting for the right opportunity.
Later in their life, Asha made a reappearance. While she was busy with other work, she took time to give Chaz some advice on how to manage and focus their newly-discovered shadow magic, though that’s still something that they need to work on.
I wish I liked Deadeye more. Your representation of Chaz marking their target and shutting out the rest of the world as their Malice increases is bad ass and makes your character and Deadeye both seem so awesome. I've enjoyed playing Deadeye quite a lot in certain situations; I just feel like it falls short in other areas. But your Deadeye is killer and I love seeing stuff about them on your blog. Very cool, friend.
Aw, thank you! I honestly adore deadeye, even given its shortcomings in certain gamemodes - given the recent shuffle-abouts and shakeups I’ve learned to make good use of Deadeye’s abilities, and I have a build that I’m really happy with, haha.
I am glad you enjoy my Deadeye headcanons, though!
It's not technically a question off that list, but I wanted to ask why Sylvari is your favorite profession. It's mine too, because they're so innocent and naive while also being deeply curious and interested in the world around them. I'd love to know what you like about them too :)
hey thanks for the ask!
Well, two things. One, I just really like the fantasy nature aesthetic. I’ve always had a thing for sentient trees and plants in whatever books/games I consumed in the past. (I also love elves, and sylvari are pretty similar in terms of their aesthetic).
Two, which is similar to what you said, I love their innocence combined with their intensity. Their culture is so enthusiastic, optimistic, and open-minded, and it’s so pure and refreshing.
Are you still playing your new druid ranger?
Yes! I am, although I haven’t been online for a little while. And I’m also trying to level one of my necros, so that’s been taking up my attention the past few times I’ve been on.
is all this lore surrounding these characters your own original creation as well (for the most part, anyway)?
yea!
I would certainly love to see more story develop between Kent, His sister, and their father
it'll happen! :>
