Fashion Portrait commission for a guildie!

For a brief moment while I was doing these I thought my tablet was finally on its way out (It’s still kicking but I’ve got a new one coming in tomorrow all the same!), so I did one of these posts in a sketchbook!

Once again, this doodle stars @kiqo-gw2-corner‘s Muna, and my partner @foresque‘s Jana! (She has given me her tumbl blog name so I’ve also gone and retroactively applied her tag to the other two of these posts I previously put up!)

Now that I’m back home where all my doodles are, have some more incorrect quotes! These ones, as before, star my partner @foresque’s Jana, and @kiqo-gw2-corner ‘s Muna, but they also feature Kiqo’s asura Yitu, @guildwuff2‘s asura Zoxu, and my other soft charr, Varius!

“Hi hello! Goodness, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been here. Matter of fact, I think the last time I poked my head in around this place, Kralkatorrik was shaping up to end Tyria. Things’ve been hectic since then, what with the whole charr civil war, more dragons, and then Cantha, of all places, opening up.” “I’ve been through a few changes myself, as you can prob’ly see! New pronouns too, goin’ by she/her nowadays, though they/them’s still fine! Granted I did hand off that novelty tanktop to my buddy Varius. That charr loves their puns.”

“Anyway! Aside from that, had a bit of a career change - I’m now an Explorer with the Durmand Priory! Good folks there, gotta say. I’ll have to share some of my misadventures with ‘em sometime.”

((Hi hello again! I dunno why but I kind of got struck with the urge to at least post a thing or two here again, since folks are moving away from the Bad Blue Bird Bsite. Lot of stuff has gone on in my life so I’ve been a bit all over the place, but I miss posting about OC shenanigans, so! Expect some reblogs and goofy character doodles soon! “...Aulus?”

I’ve been playing about with the idea that Chaz can use Shadow Magic for out-of-class abilities, in this case exhibiting the Scourge-like behaviour of summoning a Shade - instead of a screamy sand face however, they’ve summoned their old ‘bandmate Aulus Tarkeg, and they’re not entirely sure why. (It’s a secret that I’m still writing up, shh)

Thank you so much to @the-scribe-station for gifting me a pair of Invisible Slippers! <3 I am practically speechless at this, and just-- yeah! This is gonna help me quite a bit with my casual fashion wars stuff, hahaha :D

It’s no secret that I’ve been gunning for the Invisible Slippers for a while now. (Even tried putting them on my wishlist for Secret Toymaker - didn’t get them, which is a given, that was definitely a long shot). While pants are a different affair, they are a related issue, so when the Corsair Light Leggings rolled around, I may have dipped into WvW for a few hours.

Worth it. (More details below the readmore cut!)

So as mentioned above, at least part of the reason I wanted to go for Invisible Slippers is because I really like the Embroidered Pants skin, but most Light Boots are absolutely horrible for clipping issues - case in point:

For the most part I do some in-world RP (don’t be shy, say hi if you see me!) so I can get away with just taking off my shoes for that, since I’m not expected to be in a fight (unless we’re RPing somewhere like the Fields of Ruin). However, I’ve grown attached to the shoeless look for Chaz and Varius in particular (Light Armour Chaz is in their pyjamas, and Varius is a currently homeless scruffball), so I wanna be able to run actual endgame content with them while keeping their RP look intact. 

Long story short, I actually want the slippers for the skin (rather than making an easy 4000 gold, goodness me trading post!) and this is the reason I’ve been slowly driving myself insane hunting down those dang mushrooms. 

My patience will hold firm. 

My magic find boosters, on the other hand, are running out.

Following on from that previous comic: Chaz attempts to start a book club for their fellow charr. They’re still figuring out a book to kick things off, however..

@guildwars2 The new episode was a ride and a half! In order to calm myself down after all of that, I decided to draw a (rather quick and sketchy) comic of my favourite little bit of offhand dialogue I encountered during one of the early renown hearts!

If they’re still kicking after this is all said and done, I’ll start a book club with these guys, promise.

[Chaz]: Sorry I’ve been so quiet, recently. I’ve been relaxing during this Wintersday season, amidst doing my usual work delivering presents. With the help of a few friends, I was able to reunite with my old warband, albeit under... curious circumstances.  I’m still sort of recovering from that, emotionally, but I can just say it was good to finally be able to let go.

Don’t worry, the jar was only there to transport them somewhere that we could safely release them and talk to them. Granted, Tar Warband may have... had an unexpected neighbour during their brief stay in the vessel.

((Sorry for the late update, I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff! I’ll try and get back to some sense of regularity here soon. Koko, the person mentioned in the first picture, is a friend’s character, another part of the Errant Coalition who’s been helping them out with some things!))
