While browsing through Ao3 fir Zukka fics, I came across this story Baby Bending by TheARTboss. I highly recommend it.

Anyways when I finished it, I had the urge to draw a scene from the story and this was the result!

I didn't know what colors looked best on Kohaku, so I drew him in both of his parents colors!

haha its the first I've heard it too! and I mean I think the cracks on the wall make a penis but hey to each their own!  but now all I can think about is someone with a penis nose and like ... snot? or what if it still acts the same when you're turned on?  AWKWARD

I feel like I need to do a “Proper Way to Critique an Artist” guidelines. But yea, your noses look more like muppet noses to me.

lol yeah, that makes sense I think this style kinda morphed from when I was animated those Sherlock puppets haha

I figured the darker, generally redder, color was an exaggeration of the reddish tone you get in parts of the face as the blood is closer to the surface? Stylizing a nose to feature such things is not at all uncommon?

definitely! I'm not the first artist to draw like this and I'm sure I won't be the last. :) but I find it fun to draw.

well gosh darn it! I didn't get the book, you wouldn't happen to have a copy? xD <3 if you do can you just send me the section on penises ... mainly out of curiosity. haha
