Nero stood on the porch of her estate (because of course the emperor had gotten an entire estate for herself in the Garden), scanning passersby in search of someone that might be able to help her with this project she was working on. After several moments, her grassy-green eyes settled upon a promising figure. “You there! The fox!” Nero strode right up to Ash. “I am Emperor Nero Claudius, and I have a task for you!”

It was easy to distinguish the new folks from the regulars in the library at this point, and Lisa loved to do so with pride. Forging bonds with everyone who set foot there made for an easier time on her, after all. In seeing someone new, of course she made certain to brew a nice tea, before serving a cup for herself and the other, then bringing it right over.

IT WAS ONE OF THE RARE TIMES that Vaggie was stationed at the front. Rather, she happened to be the only person at the lobby at the time this fellow guest appeared.

"Hi- welcome," she ushered herself over towards the front desk, forgetting all those lines that she had rehearsed with Charlie specifically for potential hotel tenants.

Clearing her throat, she tried at it again, tugging her lips wide to emulate a "genial" smile ( without the teeth since that seemed to be "off-putting" ). "Please come in... Are you looking to check in?" She found a stray pen fighting its way off the edge and the clipboard with all the pre-lined paper.

"Well Ash? Ready to call it quits?" Aurora called out to her Faunus friend, panting heavily at the exertion from their after hours training they had decided to do. Ash was more than a worthy opponent, and she had been pushed to her limits today with her Semblance and her weapon. Ash always had a lot of stamina, though, so who knew what was going through his mind. She pulled herself upright, steadying herself on her feet and waiting for his response patiently.

Did he really think she wouldn’t notice?

Blackfire was well aware of being tracked. She even recognized his ship, so she knew who it was that was trying to get her this time, and she knew just the place to deal with him. It was a bit of a longer flight to reach the planet - she hadn’t expected to need to come here anytime soon again after all - but eventually she arrived, and soon went to hide in a rocky part of the planet to wait until he would come after her.

He wasn’t going to have it easy this time. Not here. She could feel her energy coursing through her stronger than anywhere else. It was something about this planet, especially about its rocks; Blackfire found out a good while ago. Something here, somehow, made all of her powers a lot stronger, and he was going to learn that soon enough.

Blackfire waited. She knew he must have somehow tracked where she went, and she also knew that the rocks of this world blocked most, if not all, signals possible, so that he was likely not able to tell behind which rock exactly she went to hide.

She didn’t need to wait long until she saw him pass her by, and as soon as that happened, Blackfire charged up her energy and jumped right at him. Her whole body was radiating with her energy, and she wasn’t even trying! This planet was amazing. “I’m honored by your interest in me, really, but I’m afraid you’re really not my type.” Blackfire had jumped him with the intention to land on top of him, and now she was grinning for just a moment before shooting at him from her eyes.

When: Post Helluva Episode 6 Where: Hell - Ash’s Place With: Ash @theashen-fox​

Well, it was hardly the kind of place one would expect to find a successful assassin, but there was no accounting for taste. The tea was dreadful, the aesthetic less than engaging and the furniture? His tail feathers had begun to cramp after five minutes of sitting in a chair. Still, at least he’d found cookies and in the grand scheme of the circles it was hard to get a cookie wrong. 

So he nibbled at the treat and continued to look around, opening most cupboards, snooping in the bedroom, the living room and not caring if he left something of a mess in his wake. He was bored and, frankly, it was this little assassin’s fault he’d had to come here and he’d had the gall to keep him waiting. 

Granted said assassin didn’t know he was waiting but Stolas was choosing not to acknowledge that. 

When the door finally opened he plucked another cookie from the packet and heaved a dramatic sigh, “Well about time. Honestly I’ve missed no less then two dozen galaxy implosions waiting for you to get home.” he pointed at him with a cookie, “Ash it is? A very unimaginative name.”

          With Kars floating somewhere in space and the other three Pillar Men down for the count, the last thing to be done was destroy the rest of the stone masks and erase the vampires that had been created during the whole fiasco. But the last thing Joseph had planned to encounter on his return to the Mexican cave where the infamous pillar had been discovered was...well...THIS. 

          Someone had beat him to the cave and seemed to be in the process of, to put it simply, kicking the ever loving shit out of someone else. A better man would probably have run in and attempted to put a stop to the savagery, but Joseph took the less noble, but more intelligent, route of double checking the situation. The silver haired aggressor seemed to have some sort of personal vendetta against his victim from the sheer force and anger he was putting in each stomp. When Joseph braved himself enough to actually LOOK at the victim, he was relieved to see the shattered remnants of a stone mask in pieces around his ruined and bloody head. 

          So, a vampire? It appeared he owed this fellow a thank you for dealing with the disgusting creature before he had to get involved with it. He finally broke the silence with loud clearing of his throat.

          “Sorry to interrupt this touching scene, but I’m gonna need you to explain who the hell you are and what exactly you think you’re doing here.”

The rain fell heavy outside, the nighttime bringing a nicely lit neon glow against the falling droplets. Coupled with the soft jazz playing in the lounge, it made for a rather comfortable atmosphere. It was a popular place, especially with the rain coming down driving quite a few people in for a drink. The Firefly Lounge was almost full, with Matthew working behind the bar to ensure that everyone got their drinks. He did his best to ensure everyone was happy, which wasn’t too difficult given his experience in the scene, though it was quite a busy night, which didn’t seem to let up as the elevator opens once more.

As Matthew sees the newcomer entering, he smiles and offers a wave. “Hey there! Welcome to the Firefly Lounge! Feel free to take a seat, make yourself comfortable!”
